“Great food, Good service”

The goose liver, Escargo and the onion tart are very good. The beef is ok but nothing to shout about. The chef is very friendly.

“The middle aged gay waiter makes this place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

The most memorable thing about this place was indeed our waiter. He was so much fun!

The ambience is lovely, the staff very friendly and attentive but not in your face.

Dinner for 3 was not that expensive but still $50 a head including a nice Pouilly Fume white wine. The lamb shank cooked for 5 hours was very nice as was the sauce that accompanied it. However, I can get the same at any Wine Connection in Phuket for half the price.

I have heard great things about the steak so will visit again when I return to Hua Hin.

Had a great night with great food! The stake I think is the best in Hua Hin! Deffently a must if you are in Hua Hin! Don't forget the bread pudding for the dessert, it's unreal!!

“Nice newcommer in Hua Hin”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

Relativly new French Restaurant I Hua Hin related to La Grappa and Mondo Vino. The menue offers a good selection of courses and prices apart from top steak cuts are very reasonable.Service and staff is very good. However during my last visit Romain the chef didn't know on which foot to stand on and turned a very popular and nice French starter into some thing that would please the Thai palate and had nothing to do with what you expected from a French Restaurant. Please do not do that again.

“Delicious and great value!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

Highly attentive, friendly staff (including the chef who personally welcomed us & explained the menu). Lovely decor too. We went for the 2 course set lunch menu @ 350 baht p/p including hot bread rolls, coffee & water. Everything was delicious - carrot & pumpkin soup, pork medallions, barramundi & white chocolate mousse with rhubarb compote. We would definitely recommend Le Bistro!
