Having had several seafood and Italian meals during our 3-days vacation in Hua Hin and Pranburi, we craved for something delicious and different. We looked through the list of restaurants in Tripadvisor and found this hidden gem - as we are regular to their places in BKK so we just hit the road to try their dishes with no hesitation.

Good - same delicious food and dessert as you could expect in their BKK branches, friendly service, decent owner (we chatted a bit on how he ended up living here now), plenty parking spots

Bad - not actually bad but it's just a bit far from the main road and traffic was killing during weekend nights

We will return again next time we'd be in the area.

I got first a strange Feeling of already seen. It wasn't only a feeling it was the truth: all the furniture was the one used in Bankok, Sukhumvit Soi 12 before their closure (contract not renewed). Today, I was in Hua Hin but I found an atmosphere that I knew very well: the one of Soi 12. And of course the food is gorgious.
Food lovers, travellers, tourists or Hua Hin resident, do not hesitate. This is definitely a place to go.

On our way to northern Thailand from Phuket, we spent the night in huahin and were looking for something different. Crepes & Co was one of the top recommended on tripadvisor. So we went to try them out.

The minute we walked in, the atmosphere was definitely different from elsewhere. The moroccan starters were impeccable, absolutely delicious. Main course definitely have us the moroccan delicacies and their crepes were absolutely fabulous.

I definitely will come back again whenever in hua hin.

Yet another objective review from Fatt Matt. As always, your results may vary.

The Hua Hin/ Cha Am dining scene is an annoying collection of overpriced tourist trap eating spots, especially to the east of Petchkasem Road. There's an awful lot of dumpster filler out there. But on Mrs Fatt's birthday, we went to one of her favourite Bangkok restaurants that has had a branch in Hua Hin since December 2012 and we're happy we did.

The Goods:
Big, open outside eating area, mostly under shade. But also a big inside seating place, air-con equipped of course. Good menu with quite a lot of crepes on it but with also some non-crepe food. Good and not expensive wine list. Decent food at a decent price, even if the waitstaff are all dressed like mimes for some reason.

The Bads:
Not many. It's a little bit off the Petchkasem Road beaten track, but that's actually a Good because it means that the place isn't the usual Hua Hin tourist trap/ "wine bar". Service was a little lazy but the place has only been open for five months and maybe they've already seen a bit of turnover. Mrs Fatt's Norwegian (frozen) smoked salmon crepe looked a little meek in the smoked salmon department. She's not one to complain, but it was pretty easy to see that a dozen small cubes of smoked salmon weren't really doing it for her.

What We Ate:
I had the Sukhimvit crepe and one glass of Leo Beer. Mrs Fatt had the Norwegian crepe (frozen smoked salmon and sour cream- but of course they were "out of sour cream" and it took them twenty minutes to tell her) and some water. Then she had a chocolate ice cream dessert crepe (because it was her birthday and everything) that looked pretty tasty.

Total cost: About 1,000 baht- maybe a little less, maybe a little more. But not much less or more. We went just after about 2pm and it wasn't busy at all so service maybe could have been a bit better. But sitting outside in an unpretentious place, eating cheap, good food was nice because so many Hua Hin restaurants are just so abjectly overrated and disappointing.
