This is real 5 stars & SHL ! Nice views, fresh air, organic foods( they have their own farm) nice crews, nice food, high privacy ... They even have private BBQ -inside your villa, in a reasonable price. The prices are reasonable & don't need to rush for the swimming pools, sun loungers... However, it's a bit "old" already & it's not convenience. They have just 3 times shuttle bus to the town & always full. Anyways, it also worth for value & good for relaxation ! Just remember, it's Guti AKA, not AKA!

If you are planning to book the AKA in Hua Hin, remember, it HAVE TO BE Guti... AKA is terrible, AKA GUTI is good! Nice views, fresh organic foods (as they have their own farm ) nice crews, just the building a bit old, but still worth in value. The price is reasonable, not expensive, high privacy. They even have in room BBQ service , in very acceptable price.

Away from the the towns hustle bustle rests one of the best pool villas I have stayed in. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, where in the room opens to your private infinity pool, placed next to an elevated patio for your to relax, soak up the sun, read a book, get a massage or have nice cocktail.
The resort is a good 10 min drive from the heart of the town and the beach but they provide a free shuttle service 4 times a day to town and back. Good food, great cocktails and a decent breakfast spread will get you through the night and the next morning without having the need to step out.
If you are looking to unwind relax and just stay in with your partner (may or may not b with kids) things couldn't get better than this. If you are here to party and go wild this is definitely not your cup of tea.

Room Tip: Get the hill facing villas as they get more sun so your infinity pool remains warm and you get compl...

A beautifully designed resort..with luxurious pool villas make AKA Guti a great choice to escape the hustle-bustle of Hua Hin!

A good 30mins drive out of the city center...the complementary shuttle service provided three times a day definitely helps exploring what Hua Hin has to offer (which is not much!). The restaurant at the resort has a limited but delicious menu. The service was prompt and efficient.

The only cons worth mentioning - rooms lacked privacy...we could practically look into the pool decks of the adjacent 3 villas which was a bit annoying...besides anyone walking around can peek into the deck! The breakfast spread is nothing to write home about....below average for the kind of money you pay.

Apart from that, overall a relaxing stay in a new, well maintained, aestheically designed resort!

A great place to relax, read a book and have a quality timeout.

Set inland, 5 - 10km from Hau Hin with nothing around it, so you have to drive from the resort to experience what Hau Hin and surrounds have to offer.

The resort is small and intimate with each accommodation having it's own 10 metre pool aswell as a beautiful centrally located 50 metre pool. Watch spectacular sunsets from the pool deck or the bar area. Whilst we chose to spend our days in the resort enjoying the pool area, most of the guests travelled into Hau Hin on the resort provided transport, therefore we felt like we had the resort to ourselves during the day.

The accommodation is tastefully furnished in a rustic manner, effectively airconditioned and has a nice shower bathroom complex complete with a private outside bath.

The Guti cafe has a good menu for lunch and dinner and serves a buffet breakfast. One evening, the resort served a seafood BBQ on the pool deck which was a great location to eat dinner as the sun set.

The lounge and bar is a great place to have a pre-dinner drink, and had a "happy hour" between 5pm - 7.00pm where you got 2 for the price of 1 drinks. The barman made some great cocktails for us during the happy hour.

We found that overall the staff were very helpful and could not do enough to make sure you were fully taken care of.

We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a good outlook, some look over a pathway over the rooftops of the front row of ro...

The resort is lovely, very quiet and peaceful. Great place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The 2 bedroom villas are beautiful with private pool, looking out over the hills, really lovely. Read books and swam in the pool. Breakfast was good but dinner not so good. Happy hour advertised but no barman. This was understandable as I think we were one of only a few families staying at the resort. Pillows hard, would be good to have feather down pillows also.

I could understand why the hotel was vote"d" one of the best boutique hotels in the South East Asia - the pool is beautiful, the villa is lovely designed and spacious...but that was the history...

The maintenance was horrible - 3 lights in the room didn't work, 1 door know gone, 1 nail on the wooden deck poked me, the bathroom door couldn't locked...Sorry but this hotel is definitely not a "luxury" hotel!!! I wasn't paid to be a mystery shopper to report all these defaults!!

Besides, the breakfast wasn't impressive at all. Stayed there 2 nights but most items were exactly the same...the food on the buffet station was either too cold or dried...the bowls got chipped, the food cover net was broken...sigh...
