We have stayed many times in Hua Hin (one of our sons lives in Bangkok), and we have stayed at various locations. There were only 2 TA reviews when we booked this hotel. The others since have reinforced the earlier reviews.

We wanted somewhere clean, comfortable and central and Baan Klang ticked the boxes. Some niggles but, after all this is Thailand and this is a small central hotel. We are very pleased with our choice. Ten minutes stroll to night market, fifteen to Poonsuk Road ( the eating street).

Sw miming pools were adequate. Not enough furniture, but there were only a couple of days when the pool areas were full.

The re have been negative comments on breakfast. Yes, if you got there at the wrong time the fried eggs did look less than appetising, but they would always cook something for you individually - turned over eggs, boiled eggs, omelette, bacon etc. Good to see both western and Asian choice. Fruit selection. The guy we called the breakfast manager had decent English and was very pleasant and helpful.

Rooms cleaned daily and all had separate lounge area, so very good value at an average high season cost of THB1,500 a night inc breakfast. We had one morning with no hot water, but someone was sent within five minutes of our allot reception and was fixed immediately.

Very clean and spacious room - room service every day. Central location quite near to night markets and a small Tesco across the road in the petrol station for snacks and drinks etc.
Free fast WiFi.
2 pools - would help if there were more than 5 beds and about 4 chairs for both.
Breakfast - cereals, salad, fruit, 3 Thai dishes and cold eggs, ham and sausage, toast and jam.
The staff were quite happy to cook fried eggs, boiled eggs or omelette for us every morning which was much appreciated.
All in all with the exception of the pool furniture a very nice stay at this resort.

Not much to rave about to be fair. Good central location, big clean rooms, 2 swimming pools, although not the type of pool you would want to lounge around. Breakfast was not great, freezing cold eggs, lots of the burners had been turned off underneath the food, being wary of getting a bit of thai-tummy we stuck to the fruit. All in all, I'd say it's a good budget stay, if you want a bit of luxury pay a few pounds more and stay in a smaller hotel.

Room tip: Try to get a room at the back of the hotel, you will get a much better view.

Booked this place on line for friday/saturday nights, after not being able to get into a previously booked hotel until sunday night. I was just seeking a budget stay for 2 nights before taking up my other place. Wish now that I'd stayed here the whole time. Very large rooms which made it extremely comfortable with a nice lounge area & good sized balconey[though not much of a view]. B'fast was included with a complimentary dinner thrown in with a 2 day stay. 2 swimming pools , a fitness centre & ample parking also provided free. Only a short walk to the main restaurant/bar area & even closer to the night markets. Breakfast was not a gourmet treat but adequete . Certainly they'll get me back on the comfort of the room alone.

Room tip: It's part of a condo complex so people live here full time. Also Thai couples & family frequent on weekends from Bangkok.

Stayed for a night. Didn't expect much since it isn't the beach hotel but rather on the main road of Hua Hin.
I am surprised when entering the the hotel.... very beautiful and colonial style. The room is very specious.. too spacious I would say. Overall 5 stars rating for this motel like.
