Stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. Where upgraded to the deluxe floor because the room I booked was not available anymore. Deluxe floor rooms are exactly the same as the cheaper standard rooms, there are only on a higher floor.

Rooms are nice and quite big with a view on the ocean or, for rooms on the other side of the hotel, the swimming pool and the ocean, look very "used" just like the bathroom. Its not easy to have a normal sleep because the hallway is very noice and the doors are thin. Have been here two times before and the hotel and staff look older every time. It even looks like the staff is getting more and more unfriendely by the years, pitty. Time for an upgrade of the hotel and staff instead for the guest?

The best thing of this hotel is that is right in the middle of the action of Hua Hin. No matter what you would like to do, shopping, eating, dancing. Its only a 1 minute walk.

Hilton's location and its lavish breakfast was its only saving grace. Our 60 sq m room was very badly knocked around through years of use and little maintenance work probably due to its high occupancy rate. Less forgivable was torn curtains with missing hooks, an ironing board with no mechanism to stand it up and a lumpy, creaking bed that very desperately needed replacing. These are basic items that good management could easily rectify and it would be far better for the Hilton group to spend money on guest's comfort than lavish lobby refurbishments.
Another sour note was that was on exiting the hotel the receptionist refused to call us a taxi and directed us to get one ourselves from the front of the hotel. What????? As a Hilton Honours member (and for that matter even if I wasn't) it's hard to like a hotel that treats its paying customers with such contempt.

Room Tip: All rooms have seen better days but will be fine if you are short sighted or not fussy

Stayed at this beautiful property, the only sad and disappointing part was that Hilton refused to grant the Hilton Honours points as I had booked through an agent and not directly this was disappointing. I paid through my nose as the agent charged a moon and lost on my HH points too Hilton should take this issue seriously as one looses the joy of holiday when one gets to all this. Breakfast not good.

I stayed here with my family to celebrate my birthday and what i received here was more than satisfying if not more as per as hilton standards are concerned.

Although a lot to write but i will mention a few points.

1: Best in location as you are right in the middle of town with sea at your backyard so you will enjoy both the worlds.
2: Street in front is awesome for its food joints, tailor shops and what not.
3: Lobby is decent with a fairly smooth check in process.
4: Rooms dont have much to write back about as its an old property already showing its age.
and moreover they gave us a room which had two twin beds joined to form a double bed which is not expected out of hilton standards.
5: Pool is the best place in the resort to be in.
6: Sky bar on 17th floor is again for the views on offer and the shear experience.
7: Sunset bar, market restaurant are all great in location and food.
8: Staff is very friendly & courteous.
9: Finally the beach is a quite place to be on unlike Pattaya with minimal activity.

10: Last i would suggest what ur time table should be if u are here: Get up have breakfast--Go to the pool and relax with some good tan--Take rest on beach---Evening be on leisure in town---Drink till late night and enjoy the best food joints what any place can offer you---retire for the day and the same continues.

All this is possible if u stay in centre of town nd that is Hilton Hua Hin.

Stayed here for a weekend in mid May and really enjoyed it. The hotel is right in the center of town but backs onto the beach. The beach ok but if you walk around the corner you get onto a very long stretch of beach that is even nicer. The pool at the hotel is great and there is an area for kids which suited us. The gym was only ok as it only had very limited weights equiptment. It is worth saying that the hotel decor is pretty old and a bit dated (think European 4 star). It could do with a refurbishment but this is really the only complaint that I have. I actually ended up here by mistake as the Amari Hua Hin which I originally booked could not accomodate my Agoda booking. In fairness to Agoda and the Hilton they were great as we got upgraded to quite a massive 2 bedroom suite (+100 sq meters). As I live in Bangkok I will certainlty be returning to the Hilton and I will actually make it my regualar place to stay when in HH.

I found this hotel to be very very good. The pool is perfect but starting to show abit of wear and tear. The beach is small and rocky and the water is so so. But the staff was excellent. Room was very large and had a very nice view of the ocean and pool. Food at brunch was verygood as well. Would I stay again? Hmm Yes if the price was right.
