A group of 10 varying in ages from 12 - 60+ this resort provides something for all. There are many areas for a quieter read and cold drink, or fun in the huge pool with water slide and safe sandy beach area for the younger guests.
Our room was well placed with lovely outlook over the gardens and fish ponds, some of our party stayed in the "club rooms" but the ample and comfortable balcony we had in our standard room certainly made up for any smarter fittings etc
Friendly staff, great location with good beach walks in either direction make this a great find.
Would avoid eating at the hotel as there are many good places to discover outside of the gates either an easy walk or 150bht tuk tuk ride to all the action.

Room Tip: If a non smoker ensure your room is not between other smokers so that time on your balcony is not ru...

we have stayed here 3 times now and recommend going in the regency club.
across the whole hotel the service is first class , grounds immaculate and a very good location , just out of town but close enough to get in.
the regency club option is a great place to relax with drinks available all day and breakfast and snacks served in the out door / indoor lounge are.
go to Mc Farlends on a Sunday for brunch- what a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday -watching the comings and goings of people on the beach , the horse men walking up and down and being served ice cold drinks with the most beautiful buffet available - full of fresh shell fish among other things

My family and I spent a night in a Regency Club room last week. Althought it was short we had a fantastic time and I highly recommend this property, with a suggestion that you go for Regency Club given the nice Regency Club lounge, separate Regency Club Pool and beachside bed area, and the quieter location of the Regency Club rooms.

Overall this is beautiful and high quality property - felt far more like a Grand Hyatt than a Regency with great service, very comfortable rooms will all the amenities and good food in the two restaurants and a small but functional gym. The main pool is sizeable with a number of different areas not to mention an awesome water slide which we all fell in love with - in particular my 6 year old twins who couldn't get enough of it! They also really enjoyed the outdoor playground off to one side of the property - very sizeable and well equipped.

The location is south of the main strip in Hua Hin which I also liked - makes for a central location but out of the main buzz. The location on the main beach is likewise a little more secluded. The beach itself is fantastic with a caveat that at high tide, most of the beach is underwater unlikely properties further up the beach. This only comes into play in the evening though so won't affect your daytip fun.

Thank you for sharing your enjoyable experience with your family at the resort recently.

I appreciate the compliments about the Regency Club room whereby your family chose to stay as well as the experience and services that came with the oom inclusion.

It is nice to hear that you like the secluded beach location of our resort.

Despite been a slight ix up with the room allocation, we required, 1 double, 1 twin & 1 double with extra bed. It was soon resolved with no drama’s.
After that the hotel met & even exceeded all my expectations. The water slide was a major hit with the children. From 10.00am till 6:00pm constantly down it.

The pool, pools or lagoon, not sure which one is appropriate meads through the extensive gardens. There are plenty of sun loungers all with parasols for shade if required. The pools side staff do a great job in ensuring that there are always fresh clean towels available. The pool side refreshments & service was excellent. Press a button on the parasol & the staff were there within minutes taking the orders. Or you could always try the pool side restaurant.

There is a kids club and for 2 days I hardly saw my daughter, they had so many activities from 09;00 -18:00 that the only time I saw her was when she wanted food or to play on the water slide. It seemed that most of the activities involved painting, baseball caps, parasols etc & there is a fee for this.

On the beach there is pony trekking up the beach, banana boats & an arm chair ride, other children in the group went on this & said it was good. This is not affiliated to the hotel so prepare to barter

Breakfast was a fantastic array of all dishes catering for all nationalities, with eggs, pancakes and waffles made to order. My daughter loved the pancakes with maple syrup. I only ate one evening meal in the hotel, mainly because we wanted to explore Hua Hin. The food again was great with a daily special, and reasonably priced with a bottle of wine.

The hotel Tuk Tuk service will take you to the security hut leaving a short 2 minute walk to the main road or night market (depending on which night Thursday – Sat only), failing that they have their own transport that can take you into town for a reasonable price.

The hotel is a low rise building with individual houses spread around the gardens. The pools are great for kids, adults, with quite areas & a great view of the beach. The staff at the hotel are really friendly always smiling & wishing you a good day. The room was cleaned to a very high standard despite my daughter doing her best to make it look like a bomb site. The minibar prices are as expected with a good choice of snacks & fizzy drinks.

Cant fault this hotel & will be staying again for my next visit to Hua Hin

Having visited last year for Sunday brunch, we were impressed by the tropical grounds and extensive swimming pool so thought it would be a great place to start our annual month long family holiday in Thailand. We decided to book seven nights to stay in July 2013 and we were delighted that our high expectations were fully met.

The resort is truly beautiful, with lush landscaping and a team of hardworking gardeners constantly maintaining it. The swimming pool is a sprawling lagoon which meanders through the landscape. We loved swimming around it with our little toddler and he especially enjoyed the children's pool and beach, while my husband very much enjoyed the water slide. The pool team were very attentive with the provision of towels and drinking water.

The rooms were lovely, while a bit on the smaller side (with an extra bed for the little one) they had the most comfortable balcony furniture, and the bathrooms were well equipt. After a couple of days we changed rooms from a garden view to a pool view which give a much brighter and lighter aspect, with a few less mosquitoes! We also appreciated the nightly turn down service with flowers and a fresh bucket of ice.

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. We also ate at the pool restaurant on a number of occasions, the food was tasty and again service good. We tried the Saturday grand buffet, which was fine.

In the evenings we made the effort to eat elsewhere, by either catching a local baht bus from the main road or using the hotel shuttle service. Be warned Thai people are very punctual and if you do not arrive for the shuttle well before the departure time you risk missing it regardless of whether you have booked. That said the hotel never charged for our little boy and we were even transported in the hotels limousine at no extra charge which was a lovely treat and much appreciated.

We also liked that the General Manager was often about talking to guests, this indicates that he is very proud of his hotel and has every right to be. After a week we felt very relaxed and refreshed, ready to continue our Thai travels. I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

Room Tip: The pool view room suited us better, but that was just our preference.

We stayed at the hotel in July and it was superb. The staff were attentive, food very good, and fantastic services for kids. Although there was a mix-up in the room reservation (we were a rather complex party of five rooms), once this was bought to the attention of the hotel, the management were straight onto it and fixed it immediately.
The food was of a good standard, with the breakfasts varied and the other hotel restaurants were good too. The children´s pool was really great, and the pool staff were attentive.
Beach ok, but we spent most of the time by the pool, as the children pool had a sand surround which was really good for our daughter.
5 min taxi ride into the town centre, where there are an array of restaurants and night market with is good fun.
Overall, an excellent holiday in an excellent spa hotel.
Oh, and the Spa is amazing....a must visit!

Room Tip: The standard rooms are fine (especially if you have kids), but if you are a couple, you might want t...

We stayed only for 3 nights on the way to Europe. It is a bit of a trip from BKK Airport but the hotel was worth the trip. Our room was very nice and clean, with a huge bathroom, and a balcony with a garden view. The rooms are very confortable, and you can also choose from a pillow menu. Breakfast was great, with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. The patissery was amazing, better than in Europe. Every morning before breakfast we also went to the free yoga classes, and the instructor is very competent and helpful. We wish we had more time for that. After 3 mornings of yoga, we started to really feel the benefits! We also tried the retaurants of the hotel, and are reasonably priced, and better than most of the ones we tried in Hua Hin centre. All the staff have been very professional, helpful, and very kind. We would definitely recommend it.
