“Disappointing and uninterested”

Sea Pines Golf Course
Attraction details
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Played twice over last weeks at Sea Pine. The total organisation is a mess ! The restauramt staff is not responsive and extremely slow, they closearound 5 so not possible to eat something after last round. We did not organise transport so the doormen was so friendly to rip us of for THB 700 in an old lorry. The caddies did not keep the score, indicated the required tip and were not interested at all. The course itself is flat and not exciting except for the last 3 holes purely cause they are along the beach with a spectacular view. Guess I will not return here as they charge same same as the top courses but deliver not even half.

The condition of the course was just terrible. Caddies lacked the interest to search balls and the service in restaurant is terribly slow.
Location is good, not a long way from the center. Also a couple of last holes have a nice sea view!

That was very beautiful golf course near the sea. Nice wind cooled the air and wasn't that hot like in Banyan. The only negative thing was a caddie, who couldn't speak English and forged to tell that on the last fairway is OB on the right side...

I did mentioned this Golf Course during my review of Suan Son Beach. I play here many times as a member of the club and it offers a great challenge to players of all age and ability. With four different tee boxes it is challenging for the Ladies as well as the Men. This Golf Course was built and is owned by the Military. So it is always well taken care of and always improved.

The club house is wonderful and open serving yummy thai dishes as well as western foods. The rates are still reasonable and the food and drinks on the course are very inexpensive.

When it's hot, it's really hot there, because no shadow, no hut. There is a lot of water obstacles and bunkers. It's quite a distance between the holes.
