Owner description: The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have.

“Great !!”
Reviewed June 8, 2014 via mobile

We just come back from this Waterpark.

We used the free shuttle service from the clock tower Hua Hin. Nice. De shuttle service is a white tuk tuk with a "Black mountain" sticker on the door. The shuttle stops at the entrance of the tempel. For information about the hours and the park you can download an brochure at their website.

The park itself. An adult pays 600 bath (Farang and Thai) and for children its 300 bath.

The park is very clean. Very clear water. You can not take food or drinks inside. They check your bags at the entrance. At the left you have lockers, showers and cabins to change your clothes. You have to pay 200 bath deposit for the locker key.

For food and drinks you have to put money on a electronic card. You can do this at the souvenier shop at the entrance. After your visit, they give thr money on the card that you not used back. The drinks are fair priced. 30 bath for cola, fanta.... 20 for water, 35 for ice cream.

About the pools. Well.. you have many sliders... from easy to heavy. Everywhere are lifeguards. Its Fun. You have many places to sit and relax.

For the baby and young students they have a pool of waterfun to. For the brave they have the big wave pool. This is amazing.

Well....we liked it very much and if have time we sure go back again. At the end of the day you can take the tuk tuk back to Hua hin for free..... thats what i call service !

“Good for Young Kids”
Reviewed June 6, 2014

We took our 2 boys aged 7&9 to this water park and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The park was perfect for kids their age but there probably wouldn't be enough to keep teenagers happy. There is about 9 slides (for a coupe of the slides you have to wear a helmet), a lazy river, a wave pool, an infinity pool and a kids adventure area suitable for toddlers.
We went on a weekday and the park was pretty quiet, no queuing for any of the slides. There was plenty of shaded area and sun loungers available as well as lockers to store valuables.
The park was clean and staff were nice and helpful. There is a food outlet which had a good variety of food and drinks (you are not allowed to take any food or beverages into the park).
We took the 9.30am free shuttle bus from the clock tower in Hua Hin which got to the park just before 10.00am which is opening time. The other pick up times from the clock tower are 11.00am and 12.30pm and the return times are 2.00pm, 3.30pm and 5.00pm (the bus is only available during peak season though). Would recommend as a good day out for young families.
