Owner description: The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have.
Useful Information: Lockers / storage, Bathroom facilities, Food available for purchase, Activities for older children, Stroller parking

he park is about a half hour drive from the city. Cost of traveling around 1000 Bhatt. We were in the low season and good surprised that thay dropped the price in half. Adult 300 Child 150 Bhatt
. Very nice park. The main building tower with slides from a short slide to Extreme . Includes two tubes slides. The park has a wave pool that runs every twenty minutes and produces high waves. Boating tubes have been more successful if was faster.
Park staff very courteous. There rescues in each aera and safety equipment includes life jackets and safety helmets.
As we were in LOW season and the park was almost empty .. we felt that we had a private park and accordingly there were no lines anywhere.
You can get a locker for a guarantee of 100 Bhatt. Towels for 200 Bhatt (100 for deposit) .. There is a restaurant with reasonable food at very cheap price.
it is Forbidden to bring food and drinks to the park. We brought water bottles that were taken at the entrance to the park and returned to us when we left
at thr Entrance to the park you can get a magnetic card, and charge it with money, the only way to buy food. the money left in the card you can get back on departure.
Children and we had a great time and we went to the park again three days later.

This is a great little place to either go with family or with ya mates. It like nothing else you would find in Thailand. The place is quite cosy with a couple of great attractions. The best is the wave pool, which one could learn to surf in if there were not many people there. It was a great experience with the large polystyrene boards. The slides were also good but quite annoying that they make everyone wear helmets down the slide. But safety first! quite a good initiative... especially being a place in Thailand. all in all a great place, must visit.

The park is new but not much decoration. The prices is high for Thai people. And the surrounding is a little dirty and far from the city. Fun for a half day.

This is our nth time in Thailand but first time in Hua Hin. We've done the temples, cultural and animal shows from previous visits. If you have young children, they will love this place!

Great family day out, actually came here twice in a week. Good slides and wave pool which dear husband reckons it's much better than the ones in the Gold Coast. Admission price was normally 600baht p/adult and 300baht p/child. But since it's low season, it's half price. Food and drinks purchased outside the place are not allowed. There's a restaurant cafe which offers Western and Thai dishes. Prices were okay around 100 -150baht per meal. Soda 30baht, coffee 40 baht. I'm just sharing the prices coz pretty much the good experiences from other TA reviews were already mentioned.

We almost have the whole resort to ourselves with only 20-30 other guests. The staff said, the place get really busy during weekends big local holidays. So if you like to come here, try coming on weekdays.

It's only about 15-20 minutes taxi ride from town but a whopping 600-800 baht for a return taxi trip. If there's a rip off experience to mention, it's the cost of taxi around Hua Hin. Can't get any justification for the hundreds of bahts the taxi and tuk tuk drivers are charging in this place.

But don't be put off by the cost of transport around town, I can still highly recommend this water park as a must do for a family in Hua Hin.

They have a wave pool, lazy river and couple of decent slides. You will have fun there with clean and well maintained equipments. Safety is quite regulated to make it all fun and safe.

Take caution if you're driving there as you lose cell service about 10 mins before you get there. Don't miss the turn going up the hill, look out for the big banners.
