Owner description: The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have.

“Best family vacation day this year!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

My kids, 8 and 11, found this the perfect size and complexity for excitement and mom loved the safety with helmets and plenty of proactive lifeguards everywhere. They seem to have put up more sun shades, as we didn't have problems sitting on lovely lounge chairs in the shade. The snack area was a little pricey, as others have said, but the food was good. Don't plan to bring any of your own snacks as they don't even allow outside water bottles inside. Enjoyed the wave pool with surf boards, found the lazy river quite comfortable but not boring with bubbly sections, rainy sections and lots of good jets along the side to keep you going. Nice clean and convenient locker rooms with magnetic relockable "keys" for a refundable 100 baht deposit. Great clean and convenient bathrooms throughout the facility. It was a little tricky to find from Hua Hin, but easy to get to off the main highway, so I recommend approaching from the West side.

“Good but not great”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Very quiet when we visited which was great for getting on the slides. Seemed safe as there were no injuries amongst 5 kids who went on all the slides many times. Enough to keep kids entertained and worth a visit but not terribly exciting.

“Expensive but Good”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

600 Baht for adults and 300 Baht for kids ain't cheap, but at least they treat Thais and non-Thais equally. When we first arrived we were somewhat underwhelmed, but by the end of the day we had a great time. There were just enough people to make a good atmosphere, but not enough to mean you had to queue. One of the slides can take two-seat (joined) tubes for you to slide down in, you go fast and it's great fun. Food was a little more expensive than normal but quality was good so no complaints. Bathroom, lockers, and in fact everything was good quality. Only problem is, they have pulled out all the original trees during the construction, and replaced them with short and non-cooling decorative palms. So the floor is very hot and you need shoes to walk around in the afternoon. Also, since there is no natural shade they provide nice umbrellas but I was badly sunburnt after sitting under one all day (apart from when I was sliding). So I suggest to others, don't forget to put a lot of sunscreen on even though you think you're in the shade and won't get burnt, because those umbrellas still let through a lot of sun.

Great waterpark with fun slides, a bit out of town but well worth a trip. Kids had great fun at the wave pool and slides.

“Worth A Visit”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Plenty to keep the "big kids" happy while the little kids are enjoying themselves.
Plenty of big slides and kiddies slides, a lazy river, bar, café and gift shop.
