This is the third time we have visited this restaurant and again found the food and ambience excellent. We were a party of six (four adults and two children aged 8 and 6) and had an early
supper (starting at 6.15pm).
We started with cocktails (Gin Fizz and Dry Martini) which were just right and reasonably priced (compared with hotels in Hua Hin). We then shared a number of starters - e.g. two types of brushcetta, garlic bread, spring rolls and pork satee. For main courses we had Khao Soi Moo alla casa, Penang Pork Curry and Massaman Chicken Curry. The Khao Soi Moo alla casa was particularly good and seems to be a particular speciality of the restaurant. For wine we chose an Argentinian Malbec which was excellent but fully priced.
We particularly appreciated the trouble taken to keep young children occupied and amused while the adults enjoyed the sophisticated ambience of the restaurant. The children were given puzzles and had a children's corner to keep them amused when they no longer wanted to stay at the table. Although this is a restaurant that will mainly be appreciated by discerning adult diners, it is nice that they can also cater for children in a way that does not impinge on the enjoyment of the adults.
