“What a waste of a day”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

A group of 4 of us went on this day tour booked with our hotel in Hua Hin. It took quite some time to collect everyone from the various hotels but there was no communication from the driver etc to say how long until we got on the boat.

finally after arriving on the boat we sat upstairs which we found was very hot....... the crew didnt come and greet us or give any safety instructions or anything we waiting patiently until they started the motors and just cruised for well over 1 hour - 1.5 hours to monkey island and when we arrived they ( the staff ) kind of grunted for us to get in the boat to go accross to monkey island.

after this we were there for what felt like 5 mins was probably 20 but felt a long way to go to spend that long there. Once sailing again we were given lunch which was a pathetic option of chicken and a couple of salads and fruit for dessert. nothing like we had been sold at the hotel as a seafood bbq! We all barely touched the food as it didnt look that great and werent willing to risk any sort of food poisioning as it was a very hot day.

then we stopped for fishing where there was 1 crew member who would help put the shrimp on the line but the others were all intent on fishing for their own gain. we fished for about half hour and then chugged back to dock for another 1 hour - 1.5 hours.

i thought this was a big waste of a day of my time in thailand and wouldnt recommend this tour, the staff defintiely need more training and would have been nice is one of them spoke a bit of english so as to point out what we were seeing as we cruised or interact with the guests.

“Amazing Trip”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

This was an amazing day trip that provides great value for money. The views are amazing, the breeze is a god send! Monkey island was a once in a lifetime experience...I can't imagine ever getting that close to wilk monkeys anywhere else. The food was good and the fishing was fun....though we didn't catch anything!!!

“Unforgettable !”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

Our family had a wonderful day out in this lovely bay with the Siam Pearl, we had a great time on board and enjoyed the stunning views. We visited the islands, fed apes, went for a swim, had a wonderful dinner on board, chatted along with other travellers, and came back by sunset feeling relaxed and happy !

“Siam pearl boat trip”
Reviewed May 24, 2012

I stayed in Hua Hin with family for a short period of time. We were willing to visit as many places as possible in these 10 days. To combine visiting and relaxing, taking a boat trip was the perfect alternative. At some points we were completely amazed by the scenery of the Bay, at other moments we were enjoying the sun and some very peaceful moments. The boat itself is beautifully restored and there is a lot of space.
We took a nice lunch on the boat, the buffet offered plenty of choice and it was very tasteful.
Somewhere in the Bay we took a little boat to visit Monkey Island. I loved to feed the monkeys with bananas and they took bottles of water in there both hands because there is not enough sweet water for them to drink.
It is a recommender!

“Siam Pearl Cruises, Hua Hin.”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

Recently took a Siam Pearl Day Cruise from Hua Hin. Went to Sam Roi Yot National Park.
Within 5 mins of leaving we saw numerous pink dolphins around the boat. Though we have lived in Hua Hin for many years we had never seen Pink Dolphin before. Arriving at the national park we were transported to Monkey Island where we fed the monkey. We then took a swim just before lunch. Food was buffet style and very good. Great chicken! Coffee, tea, and water was all free, and beer was reasonably priced. Stopped off on the way back for a spot of fishing.
All in all a great day out.
