Stayed in Ibis for three nights, the hotel looks very new and fresh and staff was friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, with flat tv, fridge, aircon, balcony and free beach towels. The bathroom is small but very clean and sufficient. Didn't have a chance to eat there so can't comment on the restaurant. The swimming pool is a good size with new sun beds. The beach is just 5min walk from the hotel which is very convenient. Tesco supermarket is about 3 min walk from the hotel by the main road.

If you are looking for a stopover or a place to stay for a night or two, then this is a great bet. I wouldn't choose it for a holiday or an extended stay, but its perfect if you just want a nice, clean room. The double bed in my room was very comfortable (surprisingly rare in Thailand) with good bedding. The airconditioning, satellite television and wifi coverage was very good. I had dinner in the restaurant and checked out the swimming pool. All seems perfect for a budget traveller. Another good point is that the hotel has provided a second parking area down the road as an option when the carpark at the hotel is full. That's also rare in Thailand. The only negative is the disrubing practice of hiking the room rate unacceptably over weekends and peak holidays. Come on, Ibis, keep your rates fair and the travellers will keep coming.

Stayed 2 nights here. The rooms are typical Ibis style, small yet comfortable. Every room or it seems, comes with a nice balcony. 300 meters away from the beach, a good exercise after a heavy breakfast. Location is abit far off from the Hua Hin main shopping district, but it is alot more quiet compare to staying at the main area. You got the whole beach to yourself and don't need to listen to screaming children or local vendors trying to extort you with different items that they are selling. No chairs or sun beds on the beach but sitting on the sand admiring the sea is good enough for me. I rent a motorcycle for 250thb a day from the mini bus station and it is very useful when you are staying in Ibis as you get to go anywhere and everywhere with it within minutes. Service from the staffs are friendly, prompt and immediate. The housekeepers are also quick in providing extra towels and helpful. Only one issue I had is that the walls are quite thin. Every night I can hear our neighbors talking and knowing which tv channel they are watching.

Room Tip: Ask for high floors with sea view or swimming pool view.

We travelled as a extended family and stayed in a family room and a standard room for 3 nights from 17 Dec 2012. Checking in was a breeze, although one of the rooms was to ready. The rooms were clean and nicely designed, and maintenance appeared to be good, although it must be stresses that this is a new hotel. As our stay was not during the weekend, there was no crowd to fight over hotel facilities. The breakfast spread was simple (no egg station).

The hotel is what you expect from iBis. It provides a small and decent hotel room amd the service is good, and generally good value-for-money. Wifi is free too. The location is a short 4 minute walk to the beach but you will probably need to take the tuk tuk or taxi to other places. The hotel does provide shuttle runs to/from town (clock tower) at specific timings but seats are limited - so do book your seats early if the timing suits you.

We have a good stay, and wouldn't mind staying here again.

The hotels standard was good, very clean, the staff were very polite and the rooms were lovely, the mattress was a dream to sleep on compared to many budget local hotels.

The beach is a five minute walk down a quiet road, the area seems pretty safe but the part of the beach you are close to is has no chairs or sun beds for 300 yards, most of this beach is next to swish members only hotels,so you have access to the beach but it kind of feels like you are stepping onto people's private land when you walk on by as the beach is very narrow at times.

There is no restaurants near by,there is a 7/11,which is around a ten minute walk away on a narrow high way, this was not ideal when travelling with a young family.

The only option for breakfast was the hotel because of the lack of options near by,this was average at best,a choice of basic cereals, toast, and some soggy rice and noodles, the coffee was good, but when you consider the breakfast cost 500Baht per couple, you could get a lot more value in the main central restaurants for half the price.

The pool was a bit of a let down,it looks a lot bigger in the picture,I also did not like the fact that it over looks the breakfast buffet area and the car park.

I would go back to the Ibis again, the beds, staff, free shuttle and beach location are the main reason,I would book for a few days there then a few days in a hotel next to the Night market.

Huahin is quite expenisive especially on weekend as all the Bangkokians flock to the beach town, so iBis gives you the option of enjoying this town without the high expensive.

Clean Hotel
Typical iBis
Decent Breakfast
Quite full on weekend
Parking adequate but you might have to park across the street in a seperate lot.
great location, walking distance to the beach and cicada market.

DISLIKES: I like animals but I don't want to stay in a hotel with animals. The rooms are quite small and walls are thin so you don't want to hear your neighbours dog barking.
First time, I have had to experience that.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
Again, CLEAN place to stay.

We stumbled upin the Ibis and thought it was affordable and had a good location. We stayed from Tuesday to Thursday and then extended thru the weekend. The pool had been quiet and hotel had nice guests and ok service. Do not get mixed drinks as they are very weak and the staff acts inconvenienced. Once the weekend arrived, so did the RUDE families with kids screaming down the halls....the parents did nothing. We had to complain twice to the staff but did not do much. The pool was quiet until the bratty kids arrived and splashed and screamed again. Because there is no staff at the pool, nothing is done. The parents ignore others and we retreated to our room before they got us wet. The worst was that after staying all week, they raised our cost on tonight, Saturday. We said to the front desk...we have been here all week. The response was that they charge more on Saturday. Bad business! The walls are thin so get ready to hear everything going next door...we woke up to screaming sex, their dog barking and screaming kids down the hall.

Room Tip: Asked for a king and said yes, but that was untrue...rooms have double beds.
