We visit thailand every Xmas due to owning a villa in Bahn Nawng Yai close to Pak Nam Pran,Our neighbour Brad who suggested we made a visit there for Sunday lunch the experience was wonderful,We were in thailand for three weeks so went there every Sunday & the food was consistent spot on,The first time we went my daughter didn't fancy a Sunday lunch so I spoke to Ian the chef in person explained that Hollie fancied a sandwich instead & he went out of his way to provide her with what she wanted top man I shall recommend this restaurant to all that stay in our villa cheers to all at Palm Bistro.

“A lovely restaurant”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

This was a great find. The Palm Bistro is a little way out of Hua Hin but well worth a visit. The food is excellent and good value for money. The chef is British and you can see him working plating up the food. We had a set Christmas menu and although the service was a little too quick, the staff were very attentive and had been well trained. The setting is lovely and when we booked the meal a month before, they were very quick to respond by email and very happy to adapt to suit the children. Would definitely go again if back in Hua HIn.

“Christmas dinner at the Palm Bistro & Wine bar”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Booked for Christmas dinner as my whole family had travelled to Hua Hin and we didn't want to cook.

From the 1st enquiry to the goodbye after the meal, the staff at the restaurant could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent and the chef was happy to slow down the service so we could relax between courses. The staff were attentive and happy to help at all times.

When we are back in HH, we will definitely be coming back here for a meal.

“If you're looking for Western food and have your own transport”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We wanted an evening away from Thai food and found some very good reviews on The Palm Bistro & Wine Bar.

It’s rather off the beaten track, so you really need transport. If you’re getting a taxi, get the driver to speak to the restaurant staff for directions.

The food was ok … cooked ok, presented ok … nothing spectacular though -- perhaps expectations were elevated by some of the earlier reviews …also, a lot of these cited the availability of both Western and Thai dishes, but think there was only a Thai salad and maybe some spring rolls …not really much of a choice, but since it seemed to be patronised by westerners, not surprising either.

Given the location, don’t think we would go out of our way to return.

Have to mention the service which was really excellent – proactive, friendly and efficient - first class.

“Great cuisine”

Hard to find this standard of dining in the Hua Hin area . The head chef really does put the icing on the cake at this establishment .
