I love good wine, and as. Frequent traveller to Thailand you don't expect to much. But at Mondo Vino you can choose from one of the finest selections of Italian wines I have ever seen. It is pricy due to the government tax, but it is a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this quiet wine bar one night. There's quite a selection of wines and belgian beers with reasonable prices. The place itself is very nice and comfy. Staff are friendly. But sadly most of them don't have much knowledge about wine.

The wine selection is great. Pricing is reasonable and always there are a few very good offers to find in the shop.
Seatings outside in the terrasse or inside among the wines. Cosy place and friendly staff.
Thursdays and saturdays there is a so called "Free Flow" from 6 pm and 1½ hour ahead. For a very reasonable price (Jan.2013 650 Baht) you can taste 2 whites and 2 reds, and there is a delicious Italian antipasti buffet to join included in the price! The wines really are free flow - the staff very observant and filling your empty glasses.
Highly recommendable for a visit at any time. There are other special evnts arranged and be sure to get a seat then book in advance.

we go here for a nice bottle of procecco for 530baht but on a thursdag the free flow and buffet cant be missed

This is a really nice place, I like it...but...

I was there with 2 friends, and they got what they ordered, but I didnt...

It was very difficult to get in contact with the staff, because they were all too busy eating their lunch...they really didnt seem to care at all...
when I was tired of waiting, I went inside to pay my bill, but it took 2 people and a calculator a very very long time to figure out a bill consisting of 1 beer, a water and a coffee :) I mean come on...

But nice layout, and big selection of wine...but the staff needs some training...
