The market is easy to get to with the green public songthaew which runs until 8.30. You would need to use a tuktuk back as 8.30 is much too early to leave this place.

The food is street favorites served in a hygienic setting (not that Hua Hin needs anymore of this - everywhere is hygienic), and although they cost 50%-100% more to what you would pay for elsewhere (each entree is about 40 to 80 thb) , the quality is very good. Waiting for a table may take long as the market opens only on Friday-Sunday and largely popular with locals and tourists alike.

The products sold here are mostly creative goods, clothing, art, leather - with the proprietors often manning the stalls or tooling their wares right at the market. These are art products that you cannot find anywhere else, so buy when you see something you like. Please respect these are works of art and labor of love. Save the haggling for the night market.

Other nice stuff are the 2 stages at the front and back of the market, and a coffee stand which makes anyone's caffeine addiction kick in just by the aroma.

Hi. I was excited to visit this art and craft market in Hua Hin after hearing so much about it. But found it to be just ok. The ambience is nice for a stroll. The food stalls were just ok, pricey for what you get and the taste was just very average. The handicrafts and wares were interesting but again not realistically priced. My sister and I bought some bamboo painted bowls, only to find out when we got back to Sydney that we could have bought exactly the same bowls in Newtown for a lower price. Eat somewhere else then come here for the after dinner stroll, and browse. Definitely targeted at just tourists, and not what the real Hua Hin is about.

open from friday to sunday night cicada night market is a lovelly mix of market stalls and an ope air restruant where you purchase coupons and exchange these for your meals at the variouse vendors and let me say there was enough choice. its like street food for the middle class with poor mans prices. great.

We were pleasantly surprised by this "market," which is really more like an art fair. It is peaceful, and while busy wasn't crowded, and very clean and organized. We spent hours looking at art and buying some trinkets, and they have a large assortment of food vendors there if you get hungry.

Love this place, go all the time. Prices are a bit higher than the other markets in town but the stuff is really different and mostly hand made. It's also really nice just to go and look as they have so many different live performances and also do good food though as I say, a bit more expensive. Well worth a visit! They also have lots of artwork on display.
