My second visit after 12 months and have to say the course is improving with age. As the trees gain more growth this course will continue to improve. Greens are in excellent condition, can't fault the fairways, a truly challenging course that I rate the best of around 30 I have played in Thailand, and far better than some of the top courses in Australia!

Black Mountain for me was exceptional, yes its expensive approx. aus $200.00 includes course fees, caddie, cart and clubs, would I do it again, most certainly would, when your playing the voted No1 golf course in Thailand you would expect to pay just like anywhere else in the world. Caddies read the course very well and they were exceptionally well on the greens. Course condition excellent, people excellent, caddies excellent. great day.

The good points of this golf course are: The course lay out is nice, lots of choice of t-off depending on your level and the fairways are in very good condition, especially for Hua Hua which is very dry. It is a good work out as golf cart is not compulsory, and the shower is The BEST! Pro-shop have very reasonable pricing with is unusual.

The bad side: Very high pricing, the caddies are not very experienced, there are no big trees and never will have, so no shades AND, in a flight of 4 pax, 3 of us lost something. 1 golf bag cover, 1 glove AND 1 Callaway Loft wedge. This is unacceptable! In my 30 years of golfing, I have never experienced any thefts (maybe a few golf balls) but the most incredible thing is the effort of the management to get to the bottom of the matter. Just make sure you check ALL your belongings BEFORE loading the golf bags in your car.
