a beautiful holiday stay. Off a busy main road, and into a tranquil relaxing
The hotel accomodation was first class, Boutique style, with every thing at hand, The views from the poolside balcony were all side veiws but fairly private,Lovely touches in the rooms ,ie:Flipflops , slippers ,robes, even a basket to take your things to the beach. The rooms were beatifully designed, faultless bathroom and very clean .
A short flat walk to the pool and beach area where the pool boys were always happy to put towels on the beds for you.Every afternoon a waiter would bring you a little treat, we experienced, cocktails, fruit kebabs, macaroons, ices, something different most days.
The food and service from the restaurant staff was very good.I need gluten free
food and every morning and throughout the day if asked, I had fresh rolls and muffins.I felt that I was looked after well. Location was also good as we could go out of the hotel very easily, getting a taxi or tuctuc to the fishing pier for fresh seafood or other authentic thai foods.
Would higly recomend.

Room Tip: all good, all have sky pools

We spent a week from the 17 February 13 at this sophisticated hotel with its great position
right on the sea and 5 minutes from the centre of town and were very impressed by the friendly
and competent staff and layout of our 5th floor suite. Everything worked and even more so the
restaurant served good authentic Thai food with the right sauces which bettered the local restaurants.
This probably due to the fact that the Thai owners did not try to westernise the
Thai dishes like the other international chains.
Their western dishes were also memorable with difficult soups such as consomme and
vichyssoise perfectly executed.

We would certainly recommend it to well travelled people who love great cuisine in elegant

Room Tip: Go for a suite on the fifth floor and for goodness sake ignore the remarks about water temperature of the plunge pools!

We have just returned from a 9 day stay at Cape Nidrha having been recommended to stay there by a specialist golf travel agency.
We thought the room was of excellent quality, only one very minor complaint, not enough drawer space, but it was spotlessly clean, light and had every amenity we required including the plunge pool on the balcony which although cold when first you venture in was the perfect antidote to the very hot conditions and we enjoyed a plunge after each round of golf and found it very refreshing. We were in building 1 but had no problem with road noise which we thought we might be nearest to it, and were were on level 5 which is an advantage.
The breakfasts were excellent and as the staff got to know us we received very personal service as they always knew which drinks we wanted and when to serve them ,and it was always done with a smile.
We were always able to get a sunbed around the pool if we wanted one and again the staff were very helpful. The close proximity of the beach enabled us to have long walks along the sea edge most days and there was always a nice breeze.
We ate twice in the evening in the restaurant and on both occasions the food was good if a little pricey by Thai standards.
The proximity to the Town was good only a 5 minute walk or a 100 baht tuk tuk ride.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the golf courses were excellent and the service all round was also excellent and we would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel if in the area again in the future.

Room Tip: Probably best to get a room on a higher floor or if walking is a problem ask for one nearer the restaurant

Cape Nidhra is indeed very good, a tab too expensive though. The rooms are very luxurious. They need to look at pest (read lizards) control though. The view from the room is great. Breakfast spread is exhaustive and sumptuous. Location is also superb. I had been there from 13th to 16th Dec'12. Had a lovely time. One caution though. The room has a lovely plunge pool, but it doesn't get any sunlight in the Winters. So the water remains very cold most of the time and you really can't spend a lot of time in it. That is what you spend so much for. One advice to the establishment - pls regulate the temperature of the water in the winters, it will be well worth the while to your guests.

The hotel is located right in the center of Hua Hin, which is a 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok, and is a 10-minute walking distance from the Hua Hin Night Market. It is an ideal location since there is also a supermarket right across the street. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby including seafood restaurants.

There are only about 60 rooms at the resort and every room has a small private pool. The smallest room would have a pool size of about 1.8 meters by 4.5 meters and is about 1 meters deep. It is more ideal for relaxation and is not intended to be a swimming pool. As with other comments I have read, I agree that the small private pool is not private at all. Rooms on the upper floors can see the private pool of the lower floors. Therefore, it is advisable to ask for a room on the highest floor of each building if you want to have your privacy. Some buildings have 3 floors while there is one building with 5 floors.

The rooms are nicely-decorated with expensive interiors. All rooms are equipped with a DVD player. The bathroom is very spacious with a bathtub area, shower area, and toilet area.

The breakfast area was of reasonable size with lots of variety of food. The food was quite tasty and there are an abundant of fruit juices to choose from. The only comment I would make is on the waiters and waitresses. They seem to be very inexperience and quite lazy. Once I finish the each courses of the breakfast, no one seem to care about taking away my plates. This happened not only once but throughout my 30-minute breakfast. I had to call the waiter/waitress to pick up my plate. There weren't that many guests having breakfast.

I think this is an important part for improvements. Most of the guests staying at the resort are Westerners and they are definitely used to speedy services. I wasn't too happy with the services, but at least the food made me enjoy my breakfast.

Overall, I would give this resort a 4-star rating out of 5 given its great location and nice rooms. The rooms are a bit pricey but well worth the conveniences for guest wiching to just relax.
