We stayed at the Lapa in October as a family of 4. The good points are its location being close to everything and the look from the outside which is very nice. The bad points are the staff who all seem so troubled not the usual Thai smiles and 'wai' by all. The pool which on the whole is good a nice swim had broken tiles and a loose electric cable on a light fitting inside the water, super dangerous made it less desirable. The room also had a few
Maintenance issues paint peeling off and broken wood in the shower room. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was second rate very limited choice even with an hour and half until the end of buffet again staff seemed not interested in being there including the egg girl on her mobile phone.

Overall for the price of 4000 Thai Baht it seems way over priced half that and these things would seem the norm but charging rates not from 5 star standard is a joke.

I have traveled to Hua Hin on numerous occasions. This is by far my worst hotel experience in this town.

I booked a Lapa Terrace Suite with a rack-rate of 350USD. The room itself was ok, however, ear plugs were required for a good night sleep due to the loud air conditioning units. There was also limited hot water as reported by other reviewers. Although the room is advertised as sleeping 2 adults and a child, the hotel asked to charge for an extra bed for my 5yo son.

On our 4-night stay only the cafe was open. The restaurant, Spa, pool bar and jacuzzi were closed offering very limited options at a hotel that is several km's from the town.

Staff service was non existent and staff were apathetic and disinterested.

For the price, stay someone else.

The hotel website does not reflect the hotel accurately.

Room Tip: Don't stay in the Lapa Terrace Suites

I went to Hua Hin several times a year, for work trip I preferred The Lapa as the hotel is not connected to the beach and I ave nothing to do with the beach as well. I kind of like the cute decoration and enjoy the big pool. However the internet is super slow and I've to walk to balcony to get the signal. House keepers made the room unprofessional, last visit they placed 1 swim gown in my room and claimed during check out that I kept 1 gown back! the room is not so clean and hot water didn't work in the morning.
Overall, compare with rate during low season, Lapa is good for just a sleep place.

Room Tip: Request room at corner for large size and 2 nd floor for one who require Internet

We stayed 5 nights at the Lapa and had one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The rooms are modern and spacious, and impeccably clean. The hotel is slightly outside the main hub, however the complimentary shuttle service more than makes up for this. Staff will take you wherever you would like to go within Hua Hin, and will arrange a pickup time with you, so you don't need to worry about a taxi. Staff also took us on a wonderful day trip outside of Hua Hin for a very reasonable price. They are very eager to help, and we found there was no question they were unwilling or unable to answer. They also helped us to book tours and taxis with external Thai-speaking companies. The resort grounds and facilities were superb - we swam in the pool almost every day despite not being pool people because it was just so nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. For groceries and dinners we took the complementary shuttle to nearby Market Village shopping centre. This resort has won several awards and it's really clear why - we were genuinely sad to leave.

Pool villa view hotel that suited for a short-trip. The room was large with two balcony and chic decoration. Bath room was also large. Pool size was ok for a relax swimming but the price was high in the high season and fine facilities.

Overall service was great.

Room Tip: Room next to pool on the first floor was a good choice.
