Very nice UPSCALE Thai style restaurant. AT the seaside, with direct access to the beach. Outdoor dining area with live music on stage. Indoor dining with Air Conditioning - can hear live music clearly. Music was played at a moderate level for relaxing dining. We ate Thai style seafood - Very Good! Highly Recommend! Small playground for children - worthy of a 5 star international resort.

To travel to Hua Hin, and staying at Chom View Hotel, we planned to have the dinner at Supatra By the Sea (ครัวสุภัทรา). My brother had driven from the hotel to Takiab Road (ถนนตะเกียบ), a small road reaching to the Seafoods Market, Seafoods restaurants and Takiab Hill (เขาตะเกียบ).
After parking the car, we saw a beautiful wooden house. The clients could choose indoor or outdoor tables. We chose an Outdoor table at the corridor above the beach. Not far from the restaurant, A standing Buddha Statue of Khao Takiab Temple (วัดเขาตะเกียบ) turned to the Sea. Great location !!! Our orders; Sea bass fried with Thai fish sauce (ปลากะพงทอดน้ำปลา) with the spicy lemon sauce, Tom-ka Kai (ต้มข่าไก่), shrimps fried with tamarind sauce (กุ้งแชบ๊วยราดซอสมะขาม), roasted duck with the crispy shrimp sheets (เป็ดร่อน), and the streamed Crabs (ปูม้านึ่ง). All foods were Okay. Every client not only enjoyed the foods, the sea but also listened the music played live too. However, the foods bill was charged a bit high.

Well tried 2 times before to come here but was booked out once for a function were there was many cars there and second time closed
I ordered off there pic menu but that's not what came out. The scollops dish I had was well over cooked but the fried rice dish was ok. It was very over priced but the service was good. It is right on the beach which is probably the only thing going for it. Cost me 1200 bt for not much food. Well life's an adventure in Thailand and you just learn.
It is next to the big budda statue.

On arrival at 8.30pm we thought what a nice looking place all lit up and with live music. Service was slow and then they completely forgot our starters and brought the main courses. We sent the mains back. My starter of fried soft shell crab was huge but looked like KFC and was tasteless. When main courses returned they were cold so we sent them back. Shrimp pad Thai ok. My son had stomach ache after the beef curry. Overall not impressed. Whole place shut down by about 10.30 pm and we struggled to get a cab. Won't be going back.

If you love to eat good fish and you visit Khao Takiab just stop at this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The place on the beach is perfect and the food, specially fish, very good.
I love to go there.
