“Clean, Friendly, Affordable, Convenient Location”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

The staff at Chef LeeZ .com visits Hau Hin Thailand nearly every month and we call Jing's guesthouse first for our room reservations. Jing's staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and affordable and although it is nestled in amongst many bars it's layout keeps the noise to an acceptable minimum. No dogs barking all night at anything that moves nor are there roosters crowing early in the morning. A 5 minute walk puts you on the beach in front th The Hilton or 10 minute walk in the opposite direction puts you in the day /night market. Chef LeeZ .com recommends Jing's toast & egg coffee & juice breakfast and for lunch just before the market is a Thai cuisine restaurant . You will know you are at the correct restaurant by the large vinyl hillside vineyard signs providing shade. Our evening meal suggestion is on the way to the beach . It is on the corner near Factory Outlet and serves up real nice pizza and pasta dishes. Jing's, thank you for the many restfull stays. We look forward to many more.

Room Tip: If you take a balcony room you have a larger room.

First it should be said that Jings is located in the red light district of Hua Hin so anyone considering booking a room here should be aware of that. Jings itself is NOT complicit with the sex trade it just so happens by accident or design that its located within the zone.
Rooms are reasonable and given its budget represent good value. The A/C in the rooms are very efficient and the temperature can be made very cool. Bathroom is a decent size with hot water, more than adequate supplies of toilet roll are left inside the rooms. TV is another standard feature with loads of cable channels to choose from. The rooms are situated off street and are quiet, I had no problems whatsover with noise from the surrounding area. Jings is probably the best place to stay in Hua Hin in its class, sure it has one or two minor flaws, such as the staffs very limited English, but we're talking a guesthouse here not the Intercontinental hotel.
I'd stay here again without giving it a second thought. The location does put it off limits for families but for the solo traveller or open minded couples it makes for an excellent choice.

Jing's guest house was a good place to stay in Hua Hin. It is close to the beach and not too far to walk from many restaurants and the night markets. However the location isn't ideal at night because it is in the middle of lots of bars in the "red light" area. It isn't pleasant walking down those roads late at night, and the location may mean that you're sharing the guest house with people who are there for that purpose! But I didn't have any trouble there. A couple of nights the music was quite loud from the surrounding bars so take earplugs if you're sensitive to that. Jing and her staff are all very friendly and the rooms are cleaned every day, it's very clean and tidy there, and the rooms are a good price for what you get - air con and hot water. Basically, this place is a good option if you can't stay on the pier.

Stayed here for the third time late August/September, 19 nights. Again, the service from Jing, Peter and all staff was superb. The rates are great, the rooms clean and serviced daily. Good air con. fridge, and TV. Excellent food prepared on the premises, cold drinks, internet etc. etc. Close to restaurants, beach and bars. Jings is a very good and well run guesthouse. Will continue to stay here.

Room Tip: Fenny Foo rooms are very spacious.

Traveling throughout Thailand on a motorbike I arrived at in HuaHin and went straight to Jings Guesthouse (without booking ahead) where I was greeted by Jing herself. Before I even had a chance to get off my bike or take my helmet off. (Jing)“You want room”? “ (me)‘n cup”. (her) “OK, I have room for you”.

Since checking in here I have not looked back, my research on where to stay in each
town has really paid off here. Great friendly staff, very comfortable clean rooms (made up daily) hot water, fridge, tv, cold A/C, Laundry service and safe motorbike parking and it is quiet as the rooms are set back off the street.
They have a tropical bar/garden out the back and a pool table, the place is bright and airy and they have very cold beer with a smile. This place is spotlessly clean all the time.
Jing and her staff cook their menu onsite in their kitchen and food is great. There are tables and seating at the front of the guest house to enjoy a meal and drinks or just for some people watching as it is right in the heart of town with many restaurants and bars everywhere.

The staff here at Jings have helped me locate a good place to service the bike and have given me hints of where to go and what to see. Peter (Jings business partner) is a good New Zealand brother and friend and is also a wealth of information regarding HuaHin and surrounding areas.

I was very well looked after at Jings Guest house and it is my home in HuaHin.

If you go to HuaHin stay at Jings. It is mai pang.

Must admit to being a bit underwhelmed when taxi from Bangkok dropped us off at the front of Jing's. The street was narrow and busy and the front of the place was small. The staff were very friendly and showed us to our rooms which were large, clean and very comfortable. The location of Jing's was perfect for bars, restaurants and the beach. All in all, a great place at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: Just ask for their best rooms. You won't be disappointed.

i found out about jings from trip adviser and went there last month. it lived up to all the good reviews. my friend ken had to get his visa sorted and peter (the boss) could not have been more helpful , and as for jing she is brilliant, a lovely lady with a great sense of humour.
room was very clean and the guesthouse has a nice relaxing feel to it , i only had two nights there this time , but i will be going there again in the new year and will stay a lot longer as i really enjoyed my time with them.
