“Cheapest Shopping Experience of a lifetime”

We went here just to shop after a tiring trip around the small town of Hat Yai & the beach. All you can find here is fake stuff at cheap price so, don't set up yr hope too high for quality. Halal street stalls are abundant around the market so, don't worry be happy. Thai food is spicy so, if yr stomach can't take too much capsaicin, order everything with reduced chillis @ spices ya. Great place to do some people watch & get friendly with the locals. At night, this area is teeming with live shows of the drag queens & transvestites that are too excited to meet & greet you..haha...l never forget the girls in pretty gowns behind the window display waiting to be hired. Looks like, things are not just for sale around there.

“Local Shops and Stalls”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

Regarded as one of the best shopping spot in Hat Yai, it is a must go places for many especially Malaysian, to buy cheap price goods like medicine, food and clothing. Not too far from the center of Hat Yai, a short trip by Tuk Tuk will cost you from 20 to 30 bath. Once arrive you will be seeing shops selling all sort of goods as mentioned earlier, and do remember that some shops sell exactly the same thing but they do differ from pricing and sometimes in quality as well.

To get some branded items, here is a place to look for as well. But before you purchase it, make sure you are satisfied with the quality first as i had experience where branded goods sold here are of different quality than other country, so just be aware of this.
