“Small room”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We got a small room. The furniture are very new.

Only one card key. When one person went out with the card, electricity will be cut. If go without the card, then cannot operate the lift when returning.

The car park is secure but there are not many lots. There is a TV with camera at the lift lobby. You can take pictures and email to yourselves.

Everything is optional except the room, the bed, the bathroom and the fan.

I stayed there for 3 nights. I get what I paid for and out of expectation, I received more:
1) A very big and clean room
2) Very comfortable bed, makes me lazy to get up in the morning
3) Powerful shower and spacious toilet

I booked through internet directly by choosing my option to add in: entertainment, wifi and aircond. The ceiling fan is free :-) Overall, it was very comfortable.

Location wise, it is easy accessible to by walking distance ( 5 - 10 min ) to : Robinson, Odeon Department Store, Central Dept Store and Lee Garden Shopping Mall. Along Odeon and Central, you can find the local road side stalls. Kim Yong market also nearby.
Local transport ( tuk tuk ) will bring you to all locations with 20Baht per pax. Except to Carefour ( local will call it as Big C ), they will charge more expensive at 100Baht per pax.

Massage - recommend Grand Sakura Hotel ( 1st floor )and Sakura.

Will be perfect if there is a 7-eleven nearby.

- the largest room I ever stayed in a Tune Hotel
- very clean and adequate. I booked the room at a brilliant price of around USD11, for a basic room with all the complete add-ons :-))
- walking distance to the Kim Yong Market, Santisuuk Market.
- hope there's a 7-Eleven nearby. Have to walk quite a distance to the nearest 7-Eleven.
- the airport taxi/van office is just a block from the hotel. Very convenient for us to o back to the airport.

If you fly Airasia you now what to expect. So is for the hotels of this great company.

All the basics are good, the room is spacious and clean, the bed and bathroom are good, the services are all working fine and the price is just amazing.

The Agoda offer included all add ons (just like in the plane you have to pay for all extras) so with the check in we got our bags with towel, soap and remote control for the TV and the WIFI access code.

The hotel isn't the most romantic stay and we doubted if we should not just check in with a nice looking friendly guesthouse but the comfort offered in Tune is just hard to compete. A big challenge for guesthouse owners I think.

The service desk was good, all deals are very competitive priced: we booked a ticket for shared van and boat to Koh Lipe for 800 Bath.

The location in Hat Yai is good, and the city is worth walking around and the atmosphere was great.

The hotel location is really great, very convenient, just a 5-10 minutes short walk to the shopping area.
Book through Agoda is includes the air conditioner, towel, tv and wifi. And the rooms is big enough. It's very worth at the price..

I'm surely recommended this hotel to my friends.

The rooms facing the main streets are bigger! Walking distances to Kim yong market.
Do take note there's no restaurant in the hotel, nearest 7-11 about 5-7 mins away!
Still a steal at about Sgd$27 a night, with free WIFI, but only 12 hrs aircon. For the 24 hrs A/C,you need to top up.Also it'll be better if there's a fridge and a phone in the room. But the receptionist were nice people, always smiley and gracious! There have a fridge at the back office i think??

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the front, there;s a view! The road is quite quiet after 10pm

We were there for a one night rest and this is basically a no frills budget hotel. The room is spacious and clean and we were given 2 connecting rooms which makes the entire place very big and suitable for travelling as a family.

We had a very good deal from agoda.com and for less than SGD 25 per room, it comes with free WIFI and aircon and towels. No issues with toiletries as you can always get anything you require from the nearby 7-11.

Location is absolutely fantastic for us as we get to do some shopping along the streets at night and there are plenty of food outlets within short walking distances.

Dim sum at a shop behind the hotel is absolutely cheap and good and a must try when you are there!

The carpark was full when we reach the hotel, but after telling the security that we are hotel guests, he allowed us to park nevertheless despite no lots availability. Car was put to free gear and manoeuvred accordingly should our vehicle obstruct any other cars.

Check in is abit slow nevertheless, but we are not complaining much, given the price we paid.

Hotel is pretty fun as there is a flatscreen TV just right in front of the lifts that helps to capture holiday shots of us and picture can be sent to us via our facebook or email!
