“Bright and bold”
Reviewed January 30, 2014 via mobile

This clock tower is by function a roundabout at a busy intersection, and quite splendid during the day in its drab golden colour. At night on the hour it not only plays music it lights up in several different colours, querky oh yes. I would definitely recommend a visit for the fun of it.

“Crazy Roundabout”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

Beautiful at night If your local to well worth seeing, However in the daytime it is a crazy free for all roundabout. if you were to follow normal roundabout rules and not consider the the locals who obviously do not know what around about is all about, you would have taken out 3 motorcycles and hit 2 cars doing any right turn.

“Must visit in the city center”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Best time to visit the place is at 7pm or 8pm when the clock chimes and a song about the history of Chiang Rai is played. Around the clock tower are plenty of food shops and souvenir shops. Try the local delicacy called moo yoh - it's like pork sausage.

“Very pretty at night”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Each night, on the hour, the clock tower plays classical Thai music and changes colour. Definitely worth stopping to look and listen for 10 minutes if you are close by.
