“A unique temple”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

This temple housing the Bhuddha statue made of Jadelike. It is similar with the one in Bangkok, I think. All Bhuddhist here respect and worship, some make a wish and wish come true, they said..If you understand Bhuddhism, you'll in love with this one. Worth study and take a picture.

“Temple of beatiful art”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2013

I was able to see the Emerald Buddha in near, beautiful and noble.
The Buddha's room was decorated by many golden or wooden structures.
There were some artistic statues, not only Emerald Buddha.

A very nice wat, pretty and interesting being more in the Lana style than the wats elsewhere in Thailand.

“A Real Treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

Wat Phra Kaew is well worth a visit not just for the jade Buddha but also for the enchanting gardens. A welcome oasis during the heat of the day. The jade Buddha is spectacular and who knew Canada produced fine quality jade.
