Sing our guide from the ATV adventure recommended this place and kindly dropped us off after our adventure. This has a wonderful adventure playground or the kids and a some fabulous fish and other Thai dishes. We were told to order the pineapple fried rice instead of white rice and back home this would be the whole meal, it also has chicken, sweet pork, salami and prawns liberally mixed in. They ordered us a taxi to get home and spoke great English too.

We live here and Chiang Rai sometimes feels like a gastronomic desert. We always ask our guests if they like Thai food and we recommend this restaurant if they do. There are a few good restaurants in Chiang Rai but this is one of the few really excellent restaurants. It is my daughters favourite and we usually get to eat here every Saturday. This is Thai food at it's best, only lean meat, no skin or bone. Highly flavoured, frequented mostly by Thai's themselves but occasionally with Farang families. We especially love the pineapple rice, it's a nice refreshing change from plain boiled rice. There is also a well equipped childrens playground out front in the grounds and you can dine in a Sala and keep an eye on the little ones.

This restaurant was recommended by the nice folks at Chiang Rai ATV, it's a few kilometres outside of town and caters for bus trips of 100's of diners, but don't let that put you off. The food is first rate, sizzling hot plate beef in Hong Kong sauce was spectacular. Well worth a short taxi ride.

Aekocha is a old restaurant in Chiang Rai. They serve you for boil rice, sauteed vegetable and soup with a tasty. Price for some menu are quite high but most of them are reasonable. Overall is very good to have my nice dinner here.

Service was great, food excellent, location superb, atmosphere inviting. They didn't "baby" us with "baby Thai', otherwise known as farang food. It was real Thai spicy. I had shrimp, but menu was diverse. We were lucky to have Jermsak to show us this place. Prices very reasonable. My only negative was that they served Chang "export" beer, which is not as tasty as regular Chang beer...Hope to return to Aekocha.
