“Unexpected delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

I knew very little about this attraction before I went, I thought it was an art gallery but oh no it is more an architectural exhibition and is fantastic. The gardens are so well maintained and the buildings fantastic. Keep an eye out for the poem to the trees, that had me smiling all day.
It costs 200 baht to get in but it is a unique experience so take your time there, relax and enjoy.

Everyone should visit this park it is fantastic and well worth the journey. Plenty to see and it is a brilliant place with water features and gardens laid out on hillsides etc. Must go when in Chiang Rai.

So much to see and learn. Next time I will get a hotel room near this area so I can spend more time on this amazing Mountain.
So many places to explore and learn about. The jewel of Thailand.

“don't miss this little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

a combination garden/ architectural park/museum showcasing Northern Thai art and architecture. The Haw Kham Golden Pavilion, a Lanna style wooden great house, is a highlight-- both the soaring peg and beam building and the collection of local artifacts, many exquisite, it houses. The modern Haw Kaew exhibition hall is also a pleasant museum format with a mildly interesting, sometimes amusing, collection. Scattered about the grounds are other architecturally distinguished buildings, objects, gardens and landscaping. A delightful, enriching hour or two.

“Gardens and museum/memorial”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

Lovely gardens: expensive to get in: nice walking paths: nice dams: need to have the buildings unlocked if you can find the staff: collection of Lanna artefacts excellent: however these artefacts are up a set of stairs, so if you can't manage stairs you may have a problem.
