The hotel look new, located inside small lane, away from action. Hotel is like a military barrack with low rise building scatter around the huge parking lot ( I thinks they can easily park 15 Big Buses). Service was slow but all were attentive with smile. May be it a typical Northern behavior of doing slow thing !. Room is big enough for two people with big luggages. amenities was enough but no drinking water or free coffee in the room. TV channel mostly local. security wise...only CCTV but I have not seen any Live Security personnels (meaning you have to take care of your own vehicle). No key card as they are still using normal household door knob with key. breakfast buffet was included in the price but the food was mainly for local & Asean. I had a dull fried eggs with toast, coffee & watermelon for breakfast everyday ( We stayed 3 nights ). In general, it's value for money...What you have= what you paid for...anyway...

Firstly keep in mind that we paid £10 ( not including £2 local tax charge) for one nights stay with breakfast.

The hotel is brand new and is extremely clean, it's reminiscent of a travel lodge or premier inn in the UK. The location is approx 20 mins to the clock tower, which is in the town centre and 15mins to the nearest TAT office (tourist office). However you will need a map to find your way around. We found the TAT office extremely helpful and they provided us with a free map of Chiang Rai, which was handy.

Breakfast is basic but we managed to find toast, fried egg, frankfurters a range of Thai breakfast and coffee. The room we booked was a twin, which was of adequate size, however we didn't find a single clothes hanger, a bar of soap or toilet roll, so bring your own or use the hose!! The shower isn't user friendly, you have to follow a set process to turn on the hot water...we needed to be shown by the housekeeping. Once turned on its still lukewarm, but no big deal, the pressure was good.

WIFI is available and the signal is very good. You get given a slip with login credentials from reception. We recommend checking that they work before heading off to your room as ours only worked on the third slip.

For what we paid and our length of stay the hotel was perfectly adequate.
