“Centrally located guesthouse”
Reviewed May 7, 2014 via mobile

Had a very hard time finding an affordable guesthouse in Chiang Rai especially because everything is quite spread out so luckily we found this place for 250 baht a night. The guesthouse is in a great location close to the clock tower, we were in walking distance of the Saturday night market, the bus station and there was a lot of food options in the area. The room itself looks quite nice there is a balcony, a bathroom, a small table with chairs, two fans and a double bed however the bed is quite uncomfortable. Most importantly the room was clean and the staff were friendly and approachable.

“Great Guesthouse”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

We stayed 2 nights here in March 2014. The room was very cheap but clean and well appointed. Situated on Jet Yod Street, this place is great to stage an exploration of Chaing Rai.

Well recommended!

“Cosy place with Western/Thai and cakes”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

Small, cosy place that also has cheap rooms (from 150B single) upstairs. Nice chocolate brownies (20B), OK espresso coffee (35B) and an extensive Western/Thai menu.

A small atmospheric spot for a drink or some food. All dishes were very tasty, lots of flavour. Great service. Mix of Thai and Wesrern food.

“Farang friendly - excellent food”
Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

Firstly I can't believe there are no reviews on here for this place-it's so good. Stayed in the Mueang Chiang Rai area - very expensive restaurants etc with average quality - so we were more than pleased when we found this gem. To begin .... The seating outside is particularly nice and the slightly bohemian decor adds to the laid back and happy vibe. The staff are very friendly ( I believe there is a guesthouse upstairs and they also run cooking classes) attentive and efficient. The Thai food is excellent - had massamun, green & red curries , pad Thai and stir fry dishes - all superb - guessing the cooking classes are worth a look in. The western food is equally good - burgers and fries e.t.c and the breakfasts superb. After 6 months of noodles for breakfast, it was refreshing to have some well done western choices. Finally and most importantly.....have the banana chocolate shakes - more than amazing.
