This hotel is very impressive. The breakfast was rich with a lot of variety of cheese, eggs and more. The view is amazing. The river is close by and the mountains all around. The staff are very helpful and smile all the time.

Our Thailand holiday kicked off with a wonderful four night stay at this warm and welcoming hotel. The Dusit island resort is a large hotel with a personal touch. Our room /suite was spacious and comfortable, the air con was amazing and the bathroom facilities were impeccable. The hotel could not be faulted with a delicious breakfast buffet for all tastes and friendly polite service. The choices of restaurants were plentiful and the pleasant musical entertainment was a treat.
We loved your hotel Dusit island, thank you for the perfect stay!

I was upgraded to the 9th floor with 180-degree panoramic views of Chiang Rai. Needless to say I was totally impressed with the uninterrupted river views and the greenery. The resort is blessed with a tranquil river and the availability of an organic garden was an educational trip for me. I got to see ripening melons, peppermint and all kinds of herbs that are good for the chef to pick. The nicest feature of all was the largest swimming pool in Chiang Rai... I wish I had more time to enjoy the pool

Room Tip: try the end of the corridor which offers more panoramic views

The hotel is very nice with good views and good facilities like the swimming pool. The fourniture in the room was old but we liked it anyways. We booked 2 massages but there was a problem in the coordination between reception and the spa. Finally we could not get this service due to overbooking and we waited in the hotel just for these. Luckily we went to the downtown and we found and excellent and cheap house of massage. We found strange this missunderstanding between reception and the spa and there was any compensation for this bad service. The breakfast was very good and the service in the shop and the bellboys very good.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The hotel representative meet us at the Chiang Rai airport and drove us to the hotel upon arrival, which was really nice. We checked in and were greeted with a nice glass of juice. The rooms were really nice, but unfortunately we weren't able to use the pool the night we checked in because the pool closes relatively early (730 pm). However, the fitness center made up for it and is open from 7 am to 8 pm and includes quite a good bit of equipment to be able to get a good work out in. Also, the daily breakfast was delicious and had a vast array of different food options available.
