Very weird place with fantastic buildings and most original, although a bit obsessive, “furniture“. The whole parc is beautiful and certainly worth the short detour off the northern highway, insider spending about one hour to enjoy the numerous structures.

We took a Tuk Tuk from Chiang Rai to this Museum which was fun and very cheap.
An interesting place with all black wooden buildings, seems to have theme of witch craft well worth the visit and we really did enjoy this.

This place was bizarre. The setting and buildings are absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful. Worth seeing just for that. The artwork is great in places, however the animal skins and phallus' everywhere get a little wearing after a while, as there are entire buildings stuffed full of them. It's weird, but good to see for the experience I guess

The first thing that catches your eye is the black wooden buildings. And as you walk in to the main building the taxidermy chairs stand out more than anything else. A dark (a little bit twisted) place. But tons of photo opportunity. And one of a kind. A must go!

Absolutely worth a visit. Take your time, not rush through! There are very many objects that it takes time to understand!

Museum or Black house was one of the tree colored names buildings in Chiang Rai. I recommend to see them all, but this one is made by an artist who had to make an agreement whit devil. I loved it! But my girlfriend refused the go there, because the are included lot of animals skins and bones. Entry fee 80 baths.

Our guide took us to this museum. Beautiful outdoor gardens and many structures showing the artist’s work. I enjoyed the visit here

The home and work space if national artist Thawan Duchanee. The 40 building complex holds his art and collections from world travels. Interesting architecture , carvings, use of animal horns in his art etc. definitely worth a visit of about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Despite the boldness of his art there is serenity in the compound. A very differebt experience

Its a museum. Worth to visit but if I had to redo my trip to Thailand I could go without the Black house and the White temple. It's totally turistic and there's so much more to see besides the major turist centers.

Much of the same things, repeated over many times...Carabao horns, other horns, crocodile skins, wood carving. weird phallus everywhere. Definitely NOT worth the entrance. Parking is a nightmare.
