Amazing design, construction, and very artistic! A bit crowded because it is one of the major attractions in Chiang Rai, but it's worth your tourist time. Many food vendors around the area, so great place to just hang out too. Check it out if you're in Chianf Rai.

My main objective to Chiang Rai was to view the stunning artwork in the area. One can see how beautiful the buildings and sculptures are when you approach this place and you can feel that the white colour is unleashing its power under the glittering sun. As you go nearer to the main building, you can see that the artist has actually included lots of details and effort in building up this area. You have to be here to experience the beauty and simply love each & every artwork that the artist has put in this place. The area is still under construction and hence, there will be different things to see the next time I go there again.

The inside and outside of this temple tell fantastic stories: definitely worth going inside to look at the painting on the walls: it's absolutely beautiful. Worth going with a tour guide or someone who can explain it all I think. It was very busy, but so beautiful that you can see why!

Took a bus ride from Terminal 1 for 20 baht to Wat Rong Khun. Entrance to the White Temple was 50 baht (for foreigners).

Lots of people by 11am and quite warm. If timing allowed I would have loved to visit right at the opening or right before closing. Crowd is manageable though, especially once you walk through the main temple the crowd thins out. FYI - once you walk through the temple, there is no return so take all your pictures of the beginning area (example: the hands) at the start.

Even though it is an artist’s creation of a temple, you are asked to cover your shoulders and knees. I saw lots of visitors not following this though. And you are to remove your shoes when inside the temple.

The Ganesha Worship House was interesting. The grounds are manicured beautifully.

Waited outside the police station in the gazebo just a short walk from the temple. A blue taxi truck stopped and said 20 baht so I jumped on and it worked out great.

The white temple is not to be missed when travelling through Chiang Rai. The building was beautiful and our guide gave excellent explanations and history behind all the buildings. The only thing I hated about the place was the chinese tourists. Too many of them!

This temple on the outskirts of Chiang Rai really is an outstanding place, looking rather likes frosted Christmas decoration or cake. It is exquisite in its detail and despite being busy, the crowds were well managed. Very cheap entry too. Close by there is a little street market where you can buy souvenirs and get some lunch.

Didn’t like it, you have a feeling you are in a Disneyland not in a temple, wasting of time and money

One of the ,,must see,, buildings! Beautiful but very very touristic. If you can fight your space you will have amazing photos!
