Met the new GM and hope she gets the funds to carry out the repairs that are needed , some of these quite urgent decaying concrete on overhead walkways !
Noticed new staff in place and the work ethic was the same as senior staff that have been there for many years .
Bell boys need a special mention , always there to offer assistance/help for us , we travelled with our adult disabled son , full time wheelchair user .
Would give this resort 10 out of 10 but for the pool boys , reserving beds for guests who pay them , 7 guests confirmed to me that they paid , must be the best paid staff at resort .
Will not stop us from returning maybe as early as September .
Except for pool attendants a big thank you to all the rest of staff for another brilliant holiday .

We stayed here for 3 weeks on a room only basis. 12/2 to 5/3 2014.
The large room had a double aspect facing directly to the sea with a side view of the pool area, this allowed you to let in the sun at around 08.00 and have breakfast on the substantial balcony bathed in sunlight. In the room there were ample drawers, hanging space and writing surfaces with a circular table and a couple of chairs. The fridge was reasonable size, enough for daily essentials plus drinks.
Again the ensuite was a good size with shower over the bath.
Throughout our stay the room was kept very clean despite our best efforts to leave it untidy.
The pool area was kept very clean and tidy daily sweeping of the leaves and flowers.
All the staff were helpful and always cheerful.Reception especially.

Room Tip: We stayed in the block nearest the sea. 2327, 2227 or 2427 would all have good double aspects.

I would say location of this resort is simply perfect; can be easly accessed from the road and has a direct beach access. Hotel looks a bit "tired" and need a certain renovation solution. Reception won't let you wait for check-in too long and performing their job very efficiently. Rooms are large with specious balcony. Big advantage is a Free Wi-Fi. Resort area is very big and at the first instant you may got lost. Hotel has many swimming pools; from tranquile surrounded by garden to noisy at the center of the resort. Most of the guests are long stayng and i guess repeating European couples with pension age.
The only downturn to me was F&B part. I have tried lunch 2 times at the restaurant (ourdoor) right next to the beach and both times the food was testless, poorly presented with lack of the staff attention and service errors. It's pitty, becouse the restaurant it self is very nice and could have done much more impression if food & service is organized in more proffesional level.
I've seen the manager (lady) walks around the resort and talking to every guests one by one, which is obviously is good practice to be better engaged with the customers. Unfortunately i didn't have a chance to talk to her.. perhaps next time :)

In general we were pretty satisfied. The hotel changed hands from the time we planned our trip till we got there. Unfortunately management wanted to change the contract for our whole group of people. The hotel was nice but our group was spread out all over the hotel. Quite a few pools to choose from. Adjoining rooms, which our families used, were not sea-side views. The seaside view is nice but the beach was small. Water was not very clear. Our Thai meals were really good. We mostly ate at the Yellowtails restaurant. Overall a pretty good experience.

Room Tip: Pick a seaside room. :-) They also have private villas, which I did not stay at.
