Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa
Ranked #7 of 63 Hotels in Cha-am
Reviewed August 23, 2011

It was my honeymoon from 9 - 12 aug 2011. I choose this hotel 3 hrs from Bangkok. All rooms are sea facing! Rooms are big enough! We stayed in room #1203, the view was awesome. Each and every staff was friendly and very courteous. The breakfast was superb. Me and my wife was really very happy and she keep on telling everyone about the hotel. The pool was really well designed and its quite big. I enjoyed each and every moment. 'Momo on the beach' is one of the best place to dine in that area.
If I ever go back to Hua Hin will definitely stay here again.

The courtyard is a great location for chilling out and chilling out. If you are looking for a family friendly place or a quiet location to chill with your partner...this would be a perfect match during the weekdays.

The breakfast is great and you can score a great value thru Agoda....all rooms have a view of the sea and if you dont mind the very slow elevators (chilling out right ?) you should ask for a high floor as the views are amazing...

There is no beach per se during high tide and even at low tide this is a beach for strolls rather than any swimming as it looks unclean

The Momo Cafe carries a great variety of food and for 3 days you will be good. There are very friendly staff abound in this resort and they make you feel welcome and relaxed.

The Momo to go store has everything you forgot at reasonable prices and if you are really looking for value there is 7-11 right outside the resort. There is not much out of the hotel as the access road is not lit for most parts at night and there is nothing more than a few small restaurants outside...

shuttle service available....but for those looking to escape the bustling of Bangkok there is no better place for the value of money for the rooms and the food & location of Momocafe

There are pool tables at the lobby area (50 baht for an hour or free with drinks) and table soccer free ...gym was well equipped with TV screens

The only caveats is for those who like speedy service the elevators will disappoint agree with the other reviewers that there are some areas of the room that look a little tired and torn couches at the lobby...water that does not flow fast in the shower

But if you are not a fuss snob there is not much to complain about...very chilling out experience

Love facility and big pool with large garden but dinner got cold quickly at MoMo Cafe because of open air dining nearby the beach.

What can i say, this Hotel is my best ever Hotel find. It is easy to find and as a large car park.
No hassle checking in, brilliant staff. The room is top notch, LCD, Satallite, Mini bar, walk in shower, coffee and a view from the balcony to die for.

The pool is the best feature, even though you are right next to Cha Am beach. Kids are catered for in a kids club.

Food is excellent, not the best buffet breakfast I've ever had, but its up there.

I was not so pleased with the beds in my room despite an free upgrade, they were very hard. Cleaness was middle. Pool area was nice, and access to the sea was nice (and the best).

This is a beach resort. You have your restaurants, the pool with pool side bar and the beach just a walk away and you are away from the towns. However there are local restaurants and bars which are great and a good way of getting out of the resorts. Therefore for us it was perfect. The food at the poolside restaurant was reasonably priced and very nice. The massages where offered outside and the thai massage was amazing. Just very relaxing and great for the end of a hectic holiday. I would stay here again.

We got this hotel as part of a package from the travel agents so wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.
After a 2 hour transfer from Bangkok we were please to be seen to at reception straight away and managed to get to our room in around 10mins.

The room was excellent; plenty of space with a balcony area, clean and had a great sea view. The facilities at the hotel was good too. The pool was a short walk from the lobby and right beside the beach. Best bit was there was a fab pool par and also a small water slide which is always fun. We also used the gym which was nicely decked out with treadmills, bikes, crosstriners and weights as well as a cool down area with pilates mats. However the air con in the gym wasn't as strong as in the rooms so you do find a normal workout is a bit of a stuggle in the heat!

We also used the spa whilst we were there and with the special 40% discount, the 3 hr treatment was a reasonable £40 although you could get cheaper 30mins-1hr sessions for around £6 at the poolside. We opted to have it indoors due to the heat!

The food at the little lobbey shop and the cafe/restaurant was also very good. It's about twice the price of the restaurants outside the hotel once you add on the service charge but you are served in a better condition place.

The hotel is actually around 20mins drive away from Hua Hin and Cha Am and they have shuttles to both for more shops and restaurants. There isn't much to do outside the services at the hotel so only stay here if you want a nice relaxing holiday which we certainly did!
