“Cha Am bicycle tours”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

This was one of the highlights of my Thai holiday. It was relaxing, informative and great fun. We toured through Cha Am food market (however more time here would of been great). When then cycled through the rice fields, went to the temple (too much time spent here), to a place where they raise the roosters for fighting and a few other attractions.

It was an easy ride and would suit everyone.

Definitely a great way to see how the locals live.

We didn't realise that they do a night tour as well along the waterfront, this would be something that we would definitely look into next time around.

The couple that run the tour are great people and very knowledgeable about the area. They have a real passion for what they are doing.

A definite must do while in Hua Hin or Cha Am.

“Great tour”

I fully agree with the previous reviews. This tour is great. I went in early March and it was a very nice and different way to see the area. Highly recommended.

“Great trip in Cha am”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

We stayed a couple of days near Cha am. Our first excursion was this bicycle trip in Cha am and it was a fine introduction to the Thai culture and way of living. The guide, Na, picked us up at the hotel. She gave us a tour around the Cha am market, rice fields, an old rice factory and a temple (+ museum). Everywhere she gave a good explanation (in good English) of the history and the local habits. The tempo was fine for us: enough time to look around.
If you're interested in a quiet ride in Cha am and find out more about the local culture, this is something you really must do.
We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you Na.

“If you can sit on a bike you can manage this tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

We were only in Cha Am for 4 days but I gained so much by taking a few hours away from the hotel.

I was met very promptly by Na and we picked up the rest of the small group. This tour is by bike but it’s very steady, if you can sit on a bike you can manage the tour.

First stop was the market, Na seemed to know everyone and it was lovely being taken from stall to stall, munching on the produce as we went and starting to understand about some of the more exotic produce. Then on to the paddy fields, a school, then to see the nuns, then to a temple, followed by the rice factory and then to a traditional village. We then shared an excellent lunch.

If you only leave your hotel once when you are in Cha Am or Hua Hin do this trip, it will give you an insight into the culture lead by a very relaxed and informative guide.

A nice touch was you only pay at the end of the trip, maybe that’s how confident Na is that you’re going to have a fantastic time.

It might be best to book before you arrive as I get the impression as this tour get publicised on sites like Trip Advisor is going to start selling out quickly.

If we visit the area again the rest of the family, who stayed by the pool this time, have made me promise that I’ll take them.
