We stayed 3 nights at Baan Kratom , a party of ten in four chalets, all were of a good standard with air con, tv, fridge, hairdryer. The Wifi was very good, several of us were on line simultaneously without the connection slowing.
The vista relaxing, grass and sand covered areas leading down to the beach, places to sit and unwind and each chalet having it's own seating area.
The beach has a rocky area exposed at low tide, whilst not enchancing the view it is great to search the rock pools for crabs etc. Walking along the beach by the shore, you can walk to the end of Cha am beach road in less than ten minutes, there is a restaurant /bar , a seven eleven and other places to eat and drink. It is a further 30 minutes walk to the central beach area or by main road it takes about ten minutes to central Cha am. Breakfast and dinner need to be ordered the day before, the food was good and reasonably priced and the American breaksfast was fine.
The tide comes in at dark, if you venture to the end of Cha am beach, be sure to return before the tide comes in or you will need to travel the main roads to get back. Sitting by the beach on a night time with the garden lights on, is idyllic.
The owners live on site, but are very pleasant and not the least bit intrusive but are there to help if needed, you are free to enjoy yourself as you see fit.
Baan Kratom is about reaxing and recharging the batteries, I would willingly stay again and hope some day to be able to so.

Date of stay: July 2019
