Dusit at Hua Hin in Thailand is not at par with other Dusit Hotels such as Dusit Pattya or Phuket. This was our first time in Hua Hin Dusit, and somehow, we were not fully satisfied with the room quality and also the food was not good at all. However, they do have a great pool.

Dear A K

Thank you for taking time to post your comments on TripAdvisor.

We certainly appreciate the constructive feedback as it provides an opportunity for us to further improve our guests’ dining experiences. Our management team have taken these comments seriously and we are taking immediate steps to ensure our food offer – in terms of both selection and quality – matches the high standards we set ourselves for the hotel across all of our services and facilities.

Dusit Thani Hua Hin is now in its 24th year and we do acknowledge that like all of us, the resort is battling the march of time. We do have an ongoing renovation programme, but given the size of the property, it is a difficult process to keep upgrading discreetly whilst causing minimal inconvenience to the guests.

We are heartened to learn that you did enjoy our recreational facilities at the resort – especially our 50m swimming pool.

Thanks & regards

This is our first visit to Thailand and we end our stay at the Dusit Thani hotel in Hua Hin. We are very satisfied with everything (almost, see the end), there is excellent service, there is a quiet atmosphere, the breakfast is superb with an almost endless variety of choices both European and local fare, two pools (sweet and salt water) and the ocean and not to forget the relaxed ambiance. We really feel pampered here. All personnel we have encountered have been helpful and friendly. However, the fact that they charge for the shuttle bus to go into town (the hotel is not walking distance from Hua Hin township) is not worthy of a place like this. They also need to improve the wifi connections which is very wobbly and unstable in the rooms and in most of the public spaces, except for in the lobby next to the reception, where the computer freaks gather to get good connection. If we come this way, we will make an effort to come back for a second visit.

Room Tip: The higher the better.

Dear BasicsJerusalem

We are delighted to have received your comments regarding your stay at Dusit Thani Hua Hin. Being the last leg of your journey in Thailand, you have chosen the right place to totally relax before heading home.

We have noted the comments regarding the 50 Baht fare to town on the shuttle bus and this issue will be discussed in future management meetings. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. As you may have noted from previous replies, this charge covers the running cost as the service is operated by our contracted limousine company. For guests electing to pay the small supplement for full Dusit Club privileges, the shuttle is one of many complimentary extras.

Your comment to improve the wifi has also been noted and we are working on improving it in all areas of the resort.

We hope we would have the pleasure of your return in the not too distant future.

Thanks & regards.

I ofter come to Huahin many times a yr for these last 10 years. Dusit makes me comfortable to relax feel like home. The hospitality welcome from ur staff, esp. K.Sumalee(front) who takes care of my family along these ten years. They are great hospitality and welcome us like big guest ever.

That's distinguish Dusit Huahin from others.

We spent 5 nights at this charming hotel. The service was superb and the staff so polite and helpful. Whilst showing signs of age, it has not lost it's splendour and sense of luxury. It has a very relaxing feel and the restaurant is amazing. The breakfasts are to die for!

Our room was large and well appointed with a view overlooking the large pool, which is very picturesque. We had lots of exotic fruit left in our room every morning. There were other nice touches around the hotel.

I would have hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

It was not my first time for group seminar in this hotel. I still love to come here again since the service was good especially the event director helped us a lot for all preparation. Enough accommodation for over 150 persons.

The room quite old-fashioned, but it is clean.
The seminar room is big with all facilities provided for the event.
Food is ok, but I do not recommend cake.
