Stayed here for 4 nights and it's easily one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. We trekked into the jungle to the waterfalls, tubed down a river and did the lake tour, which was wonderful. Would highly recommend the lake tour.

Khao Sok National Park only has floating villas within the park. ITS SPECTACULAR - stunning beauty, idyllic lake setting where you can swim, kayak - or do nothing in your villa.
Well off the beaten path but worth the effort to get there!

We booked a 2 day jungle trek with one night in tents. The jungle was nice, we saw monkeys, spiders, lizards, but because of the weather it was shorter than expected. 1,5 h to campsite, then 500 m through jungle, then 200 m to waterfall and finally 1,5 h back - and that was it for 2 days. The guide showed us some animals, but apart from that he didn't speak much. We had dinner cooked on fire in bamboo bowl, which was a nice experience :) In conclusion: nice trek, but way too short. I'm not sure how much longer it would be in better weather. I would appreciate the resort telling us that the trek will be shorter (booked at Khao Sok Treehouse Resort) - they told us only that rainy weather is not great for camping. Important to say that it rained only in the night.

This area is only an hour drive from the main city and have many resort to choose for jungle trip.
Waterfall and even a hot spring.
This is not our first visit so we bring many favorite drinks to enjoy it due most resort have only basic option.
