I'm totally divided over this one....one one hand its absolutely terrible, you can see the animals are poorly kept in concrete enclosures with no enrichment at all. You pay about 600 baht to get in and then they want 150 baht, 100 baht, 50 baht for various photo opportunities with either seemingly drugged or bored animals. (I mean, having a picture taken with a fully grown tiger!?These animals are predators and perfect killing machines for goodness sake!) The tiger show was just sad, the crocodile show a bit boring and just 20 minutes of annoying crocodiles by pulling their tails to make them react. The elephant show was better, though I do wonder the training techniques used behind closed doors.
We had a guide ferrying us from place to place, it felt very rushed, like they wanted you in and out as quick as possible. I don't know if that is how it works for all guests though.
but on the other hand its a fantastic opportunity to get up close to animals you would otherwise never be able to. feeding elephants bananas and shooting targets to feed tigers is something you would never get to do anywhere else. It is true that many of these animals would probably be dead in the wild, and they do apparently have a program for sending tigers to other zoos (probably once they have served their circus purpose)
We had lunch included in our trip and the food was very tasty, though I do not know how much it costs.
I think if you go with an open mind and take it for what it is then you will enjoy yourself. If you are slightly more concerned for animal welfare, give this place a miss.

Take it for what it is and you'll enjoy the time seeing these animals up close. We had a photo taken with a tiger cub, fed bananas to elephants and watched tigers jumping through hoops of fire. Things we would not have done in Europe!
Add the bizarre interactions of human and grouchy crocodiles and the show is complete.
Our young boys mostly enjoyed it - one was a bit scared of the crocodile show.

Terrible treatment of animals. Its all very badly handled. The zoo staff abuse the animals and hit them. It does not seem to do anything for animal welfare or conservation. Its just a moneymaking scam.

Sriracha Tiger zoo is about a 1 hour drive from Pattaya . Its more of a breeding park for tigers and crocodiles . The main attraction in the Zoo are the 3 shows .
1) Tiger show , about 20 mins . Lots of tigers doing some stunts and following the masters orders.
2) Crocodile show , about 20 mins . Really amazing , the best in the Zoo .
3) Elephant show , about 20 mins . Great act , saw a elephant walking ona tight rope for the 1st time .
Tickets at the entrance were 450 baht and included the price for the shows .
It was well worth the money for the 3 shows itself .
Apart from the 3 shows , you can pay extra inside and ride an elephant , feed the tiger cubs , get a photo clicked with a tiger , get a photo clicked with the scorpion queen , or feed the crocodiles . Its a great place for spending about 3-4 hours with the family . Carry your camera for sure . Food and drinks are available inside , but you can always carry your own .
