Nice little place in a fantastic location. Very quiet and secluded. The rooms were good and seemed to be arranged in a collection of half small cabins on the seafront and half appartment rooms next to the pool. I was fortunate (in my opinion) and got the farthest out cabin on the end.

The rooms themselves were small but well appointed and spotlessly clean. the bathrooms were also excellent. A great feature was the open balcony/deck out front that was about 5 metres from the waterfront.

The staff were very kind to us and always exceedingly friendly although there was only one person who spoke any english. We got by with out any bother but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

During the stay it seemed to me that the Tamarina was full at the weekend (there were many thai guests) but during the week we were alone, so booking for weekends may be needed in advance. In addition it seems to be a little difficult to find, so make sure you have the contact telephone number handy so if you go in a taxi, you can contact them and they can tell your driver where to go.

My one little grievance with this resort it that as the sea along this particular coastline is not really great for swimming, I was hoping to use the pool here. Unfortunately it did not seem to be looked after at all and was not clean at all.

For dining, there is nothing particularly upscale in the area but there are dozens of thai roadside restaurants within a mile. All serve great local food at very low prices. Again language may be an issue for some. I was here for 4 days and did not see another european person. Not many people spoke english. It makes for more of an adventure and you might learn a lot but if this is something that might bother you, then you might want to consider staying elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would be very happy to return.

Nice resort with good sea view and sorrounded by Nature which makes this resort with maximum level of privacy.

Almost all the rooms are looking at sea and having a good swimming pool also. Very well maintained garden and swimming pool.

One can enjoy the stay but not the food as the hotel is not having a dedicated restaurant. Also you cannot go to the sea due to rocks in the beach. But you can still enjoy.

Hotel staff english is not so good.

Also, hotel is difficult to locate and be prepared for the same. Better to have hotel phone number and ask driver to contact and get the route.
