This was a return visit to the Sarojin having first visited in 2011. It is still a wonderful place for rest and relaxation. Our arrival at Phuket airport was seamless with our driver awaiting for us with drinks and cold towels. On arrival at the hotel we were warmly greeted as returning guests. Breakfast is wonderful with A la carte available at anytime of the day right up till 6p.m. The beach is one of the best in Thailand you can walk for miles and miles with a few local restaurants serving some great Thai food. It has the feeling of a private estate and is so calm and peaceful. Every member of staff is friendly and will do anything for you. The day we left I was feeling unwell and the staff made sure our driver was aware and he drove so carefully along the bumpy roads always checking to make sure I was ok.
Unfortunately it rained solidly for 7 of our 9 days so we were unable to make use of the excursions which are very expensive so really need good weather to get the best from them. We would have used the spa on these rainy days but felt the prices were far too expensive and we have used spas in Thailand and Bali at 5 star resorts that are almost half the price.
The pool is lovely but does get heavily flooded around when it rains as it is a grass area.

This may be one of the most expensive hotels in the area but for me it was the very best hotel I've stayed in in thailand. The staff are incredible. They are without doubt the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered on this trip. I was a a little apprehensive as I'd read some inaccurate negative reviews on their ability to communicate in english. I can only say that everyone I spoke to spoke perfect english were easy to understand and more so went out of their way to help in any way they could. The hotel itself is stunning the pool is amazing. We book the room with the private pool which although wasn't fully secluded was still exquisite. Unfortunately our stay was hampered by the weather so we weren't able to have the beach bbq we'd hoped to have. Just means we'll definitely be back to to experience it as it it would no doubt have been fantastic. The meal we had in the sea front restaurant was delicious and we'd highly recommend all our friends to stay here. We loved it.

We decided to book a little bit of luxury for our honeymoon, and The Sarojin more than lived up to our expectations.
The resort itself is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, the food is amazing ( you can read another hundred reviews about the all day breakfast, and they are all true), but as we told the resort manager Dawid, there are many beautiful resorts in the world. What makes The Sarojin stand head and shoulders above the rest is the staff. We have never encountered such a lovely, helpful, humble and amazing group of people in our lives. From the moment we arrived, they did everything in their power to make our stay the most remarkable experience of our lives. Their service is impeccable, but it is the little things they do which touched us the most. Jo hurt her toe during our trip, and every time we walked into one of the restaurants or bar or lobby, the senior member of staff would come over, and not only ask how she was, but would kneel down and rub tiger balm into her foot to speed up the healing process. For Thai people who consider the foot to be the dirtiest part of the body, this is a big deal. They laughed with us whilst trying to teach us some Thai phrases, they rescued us from crabs, when Jo couldn't wear shoes because of her injury, the restaurant staff kicked off their shoes so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable. By the end of the trip, the staff felt more like family than anything else - something we have never felt at any other resort we have stayed at.
Dawid, since we know you will read this, the toast was sufficient and there was ample toilet paper :)
The resort prices are high compared to the local restaurants and massages, but reasonable for a luxury resort.
We will return here - we plan to return for our anniversary every five years, but we will be back sooner!
Sawadee Krap!

We are currently into day 5 of our 8 day stay and are already dreading leaving.
What is there to add? Our pool residence is to die for, the staff are attentive, friendly and helpful, and then there's the breakfast!!!!!! You won't go hungry.

We did the elephant bathing experience yesterday, well worth the experience but can also recommend lying around doing nothing.

A big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday fantastic.

Room Tip: Pool residences are wonderful.

We arrived at the Sarojin very early in the morning, greeted by the loveliest member of staff at the desk. We got presented with refresher towels and a drink and taken to our room. It was the most beautiful place with lush gardens and ponds with the sound of frogs. We stayed in the pool residence which was so beautiful. We went to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore every night. The bathroom was lit up with candles and flowers in the bath for our arrival. The staff were so friendly and always made sure we were comfortable. We went for a massage in the Pathways spa which was very relaxing and very well set up so you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The food was expensive however if you cross the river on the beach there are restaurants on the beach which were very cheap. The excursions are also fairly expensive but you do have the option to purchase the excursions in the town which are much cheaper. You can rent a scooter from the hotel for £5 per day and tour the local surroundings and visit the waterfalls. The Thai people are so friendly and we could not rate this hotel highly enough!

Room Tip: The Pippet pool residence is so perfectly located close to the shore and restaurant. The Sarojin Sui...

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We had booked a room with a private pool but as there were renovations underway they upgraded us to a suit further away from the noise. Unbelievable – the suite was bigger than my flat in London… We were overwhelmed. And we had a private Jacuzzi on our balcony.

Breakfast was included and a la carte. Very yummy and the sparkling wine a nice touch.

A minibus is provided (for a nominal fee) to the nearest town but we also hired a moped and scooted about to the shops / local attractions etc.

My only niggle was the prices of the food and drinks which appear to be London prices (rather than Thai prices). We attended the barbecue evening (buffet style) and although it was delicious, and we had a bottle of prosecco, the bill at the end was well over £120 which we found unbelievable.

So we took the mini bus into town most nights or ate at the resort next door (which was also lovely food and for about £10 a head)

Food prices aside – our stay was lovely. The staff are friendly and not once were we hassled by anyone to take part in the excursions on offer. It was very easy to do absolutely nothing…

My wife and I took a quick road trip up to Khao Lak for a one night adventure and luckily I picked The Sarojin. Low season can be a blessing as the rates for what you get is very reasonable. We reserved the pool residence which I found to be a really cool design with a decent sized private pool and a private sala to hang out in. Too bad we didn't have much time to enjoy it. The service was excellent. Khun Jeep, Khun Jane at the front desk were awesome. The breakfast was amazing. No chafing dishes here! You order off the menu with a wide selection of items. Juice, sparkling wine and pastries are passed around while you eat. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 6:00 PM! Next time I come I will park myself at the table and eat and drink for hours. The spa was also incredible. I have had many massages while living in Thailand and this one was honestly the best I have had. The pool is pretty cool. The beach is wide open and quiet. The owners really put a lot of thought into everything that is happening here. They have a really cool book in the room that gives you a lot of ideas of special adventures you can have while in Khao Lok. I can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: For me I liked the pool residence better than the suite they wanted to upgrade me to. The suite is a...
