I am not sure who labeled this place as a B&B but to me it is more of a full size hotel and resort.
Upon arrival at the lovely lobby, in Thai style, you will be greeted by nice staff and taken to your private villa, in a very secluded and quiet area. The villas are quite nice, with large showers and a balcony big enough for 4 grown ups.
The beach is simply a jewel, somewhere to spend your days swimming in the very warm sea or take a stroll on the sand, or sunbathe on the sunbeds.
The restaurant will be your only dining option if you do not want to take a taxi to the centre (about 8 minutes ride). The food is ok and reasonably priced, but you will probably taste better Thai food elsewhere.
Khao Lak is also a great starting point if you want to enjoy trips to dive or snorkel in the Similan islands or explore the Khao Sok national park, both of which are very recommended (google Khao Sok land adventure to arrange trips with them, they have English and German speaking staff).
I will definitely come back here if I have the chance to come back to this area.
