White Sand Beach has deteriorated with all those umbrellas and deckchairs. At least Goon & Gib did not adjust their food to the taste of the deckchair tourists. So the expat community of Khao Lak still has a place to go in the evenings.

situated on the fabulous white sand beach just north of the sarojin and kantary hotels.
it is run by the lovely couple of yad and kit and goon and gib are the equally lovely daughters.
the food here is very fresh and cooked to order and so cheap.
most things are on the menu from salads to curries cooked however spicy you want to fresh sea food.
what could be better than sitting on the beach having a candlelit evening meal followed by drinks with the very hospitable owners...........magical.
