The room was nice, comfortable double bed, a private balcony.
The bathroom was small and simple but good enough.
New water bottles in the fridge every day.
Safe avaiable for rent, cheap internet.
The pool was nice, clean towel to the pool is waiting on the sun beds every morning. The pool was maybe a little cold but refreshing.
Nice staff at the pool bar and they stay open as long as there are people present.
The restaurant in the garden is inviting and romantic with great food.
Staff is nice but as usual poor in English

Room Tip: Pick a room with balcony faceing the street

Stayed couple of nights here back in 2010. Quite large room with AC, very basic bathroom. Ok pool with poolbar. Plenty of restaurants near by.

Nothing special, but suited me just fine. I didn't expect much more with this price. Would stay again, if traveling on budget.

We booked this hotel on agoda.com because the price was good and the pictures looked very nice. We booked a superior room with a double bed that looked very beautiful on the website.

When we got there, we found out that our room, although it was big, didn't look like the one on the website at all. First of all, we didn't have a real window, since the window looked onto the corridor, which was dark, and unless you wanted everyone to look into the room you had to keep it closed at all times. All the decorative items weren't there, and it was basically just the furniture. We had asked for a double bed, and the staff said we had one, but what we had were two single beds put together. This would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the fact that the beds had wheels, so they didn't stay close together for too long. The beds shrieked a lot too, which wasn't too nice, especially if you're trying to fall asleep and the slightest movement makes noise.

The bathroom was VERY simple. Just a sink, a toilet and a shower hanging from the wall. No curtain. It was all wet after we had a shower, and since it had no windows it took forever to dry.

The room service was irregular. Once of the days we left early in the morning and when we came back in the afternoon the room hadn't been made yet, which was quite annoying. The staff saw us go into the room and leave again, so we thought they would go in then, but when we returned in the evening it was still the same, and had to ask for clean towels.

The pool was fine, and so was the garden restaurant. They open quite early so it's good if you need an early breakfast. Also cheap internet.

The staff were friendly, but not very helpful when asking for directions, since they only recommend their own restaurant and refuse to talk about any others. They tried to sell us expensive excursions to the white beach when we were just aksing for the local beach, which was 15min on foot from the hotel.

I guess you get what you pay for, but we found the pictures on agoda really misleading and were expecting much more than we actually got.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the garden.

We had booked a room in which we eventually stayed for five minutes. The room had actually no window since the window was to hotel corridor that was used by other guest in that same floor. The room was very dark and so was the corridor. So even if we could have had the curtains open there would have been any light then either. Bed sheets were very very dirty. Don´t rely on pictures on Agoda, reality is something totally different.

We stayed one night at the Khaolak Grand City en route to a dive trip. The hotel has basic clean inexpensive rooms with A/C. It is located a few blocks from Nang Thong beach on the main street. It has a pool and restaurant set back from the street. There are lots of shops and restaurants near by. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back pool area are quieter. Our room was off an internal hallway which was a little...

Family owned small hotel. Everything near. Personnel is very friendly. 2 bottles of water supposed to include the price, but sometimes house keeper forgot it. Cheapest rooms don't have a balcony. Bedroom is big but toilet and shower was a bit worn. Many budjet travellers and travel agencys last minute travellers.
