We stayed at the Sea Front Zone for a week. We staying in one of the 2 story rooms. They were very big and clean with everything you need. There is 2 Fanari properties, this one the owners have just taken over and are doing a bit of work to fix it up. The other property is not of the beach. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet by the pool. We stayed the last week of low season and got a great deal.

Room tip: The pool view rooms have very little privacy as they open up right onto the pool.

Room, staff, pools, food - everything was perfect for us! Stayed in a bungalow and we loved it. The area is very quiet, so if you want to party - go somewhere else. This is perfect for families with small children or couples who just want to relax. We would highly recommend restaurant Chong Fah 200 metres from the hotel.

Room tip: Bugalows are spacious and have a beautiful garden view.

Big bad and I'm like promotion in low season. Stay 2 night get 1 night free. & Private Hotel. If you are traveling during April. You can see the dolphins. The best cocktail and good service. Location hotel nearby water floor and on the beach. The hotel 2 zone Courtyard and Seafront. Good luck in Khaolak.

This hotel is a short walk to the beach and surrounded by many nice restaurants. Room was nice, pool was good, breakfast good, staff good. This hotel offers value for money and is a short tuk tuk ride into the town. It is not in walking distance to the town center, but there are heaps of shops and eating areas within walking distance - probably nicer places to eat too. There are a few restaurants on the beach which is only minutes away from the hotel. There are two levels of rooms which have the same view of the pool in the center, only the rooms downstairs have balconies that go directly into the pool - I couldn't see the value in the price difference. The rooms with direct access were around $400AUD and one level up with the same view is around $60AUD - go for the upstairs if you want value for money. Beds quite hard, not many English TV channels.

Room tip: Chose a room upstairs for value for money - direct access to pool has the same view but so much more expensive.

We stayed in FX in Chaweng for a few days, and after being pleased with it decided to try the FX in Khao Lak. We were really impressed with the staff (especially Jimmy). Always helpful, friendly and available. Breakfast was very good. Although the Hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk. The pools are very good. There are many restaurants close by too. We would return!

Room tip: We were away from the pool, which was quieter.
