We were a group of 12 people doing the Machame route in 7 days. Clinton and his guides made sure we had a great experience. Very friendly people, helped us to achieve our goal of reaching the summit. Very good service from welcoming us at the airport until taking us back to the airport for the return flight. Point to improve would be better accuracy in time. I would definitely recommend to arrange a trekking trip with Africa Joy.

We had a wonderful 4-day safari organized by Mr Clinton Kileo from Africa Joy at the end of November 2015. We visited Tarangiri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro staying in lodges inside the parks. The trip was well organized. We had a good driver Thommy, who did his best to spot all Big Five, including a black rhino in Ngorongoro. We also liked our visit to a Masai village, which was organized on spot on our request. Moreover, we are grateful to Clinton for taking us to the Kilimanjaro airport at the end of our journey, which will stay in our memory as one of the most interesting experiences.

Mr Clinton Kileo organized a wonderful and very exciting trip for us. The itinerary was very flexible so that we were able to visit some local educational projects.
Our driver was just great. He was very reliable, and we are most thankful that he was able to show even more wild animals than we had expected.

Clinton arranged a 5 day safari for us in August 2014. He dealt with every single detail, including the delay to our luggage, with great warmth and efficiency. Our guide, Raymond, was immensely knowledgeable and managed to ensure that we saw amazing scenes. He didn't use the phone to listen in to other guides' sightings, he used his eyes and experience and as a result we were often the first to see leopard/cheetah/lioness and cubs. We were allowed to watch an animal/bird for as long as we wanted which seemed to be different to others experiences. If you want a safari tailored to your interests and personality, Clinton will arrange it for you. We had a fantastic time and would go with Africa Joy again.

That’s 2 weeks that we are back from Tanzania and far away from “our” Kibo (Kilimanjaro) we are missing everything.
We cannot commend enough the professional, cheery and attentive team who made our ambition to climb ‘Kili’ not only possible but memorable for the great atmosphere generated and sense of being a part of a team effort whose goal was to ‘get us to the top’ safely &successfully but also enjoy the whole experience moment to moment.
We are Italian so the food for us was important, our chef cooked too much! Breakfast: porridge, eggs, bacon, toast, fresh fruit, tea, chocolate and coffee – lunch and dinner fresh hot soup, meat, fish, rice, pasta, vegetables, fresh fruit he give us the best chance to succeed you have too eat for reach the top it’s what our guide Athumani and assistance guide Masu! That’s true you need enercy for climb 5/7 hours a day in high mountain. Our waiter was nice and gentle always looking after us and worry about our needs.
The team was led from Athumani who impressed us with his experience, confidence and competence. He imbued us with the sense that we could achieve our goal under his careful guidance. On the final night he really came into his own with his amazing focus and attentive support when mental resolve was flagging and physical strength was waning. It was a truly emotional moment when Stella Point was reached with much encouragement and support from Athumani and Masu. We greatly value Athumani and Masu contribution to us succeeding in safely getting to Uhuru and down again. Their were sensitive to our needs as clients and climbers and always anticipated accurately what interventions he considered appropriate to ease our progress, minimise our distress and ensure our success. We wish him the success he deserves. Also other people that we met during the trek sad to us that we had the best guide and they would like to have as guide our guide Athumani!
The porters have done the biggest job otherwise how you can eat, sleep and have your hot clothes if they don’t run faster that you and prepare all? We saw them not a lot of time but we knew that they were working for let us reach the top!
We dediced to sleep in the hut and hey were very confortable, we liked also the hotel Keys in Arusha were we sleept the firt and last night (how I loved the take a shower the day after we reached the top!).

Clinton from Africa Joy Tours have made a very good job organizing for us the best trip in our life so now we can say “I CLIMB KILIMANJARO” and I’m so proud!
