“My FAVORITE!!!!!!!! place in Arusha”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

My husband and I seem to find ourselves at Blues and Chutney each week at some time or another, sometimes multiple times. Some of the best food in town, comfortable seating, pleasant decor, free WiFi, very friendly staff and owners, great music. There's nothing lacking. Although we live in Arusha, we decided to spend the night recently at the B&B to get away and relax, and we were very happy with our stay along with the spa services. Our 1 night stay felt like a week - it was very relaxing.

“Amazing ambience and food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

This lovely boutique Bed and Breakfast in a quiet area close to all the action in Arusha is a gem. Decorated with an eclectic collection of Tanzanian art and European furniture and chandeliers, the grounds are lovely and peaceful. The continental cuisine is fantastic including the best pastries in town. The six rooms, all on the second floor, are comfortable and some have large verandahs. A full service spa and small gift shop with unique items are a treat for those who like to be pampered and shop. The owner, Martina, is a charismatic longtime Tanzanian resident from Germany who knows how to make every guest feel welcome. If you are looking for a spot where you can relax and enjoy great company, divine meals and feel spoiled with TLC, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it.

“Very attractive surroundings and good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013

Located in a quiet part of town - not that easy to get to without your own transport. Beautiful decor and a good menu. My only reason for giving it average is that I think its pricey and the portions are not that generous.
