In August/September we did a wonderful 7 day safari (Tanzania Classic) with easytravel. The tour included the 4 parks Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.

The good experience started with the safari-planning with Evania. She was very responsive and the planing could be done via whatsapp as well, which was really helpful.

When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport in the evening, we were picked up by our driver guide Endeni. Right from the beginning he provided us with information about the history, the culture and of course the people of the country.

We spent one night in the African Tulip Hotel, which we liked all around. The next day we were picked up by Endeni at the hotel. We drove to the Easy Travel Office for a short safari briefing and then we started our adventure.

We started with Lake Manyara National Park, which was very impressive due to the vegetation and the birdlife. Also here Endeni provided us with a lot of information about the complete animal world and was able to answer all our questions in detail. Unfortunately we didn't see any tree climbing lions, which is what this national park is known for, but that's the way it is in nature and that's what a safari is all about.

The next day we continued past the Ngorongoro Crater (with a stop at the viewpoint) to the Serengeti. On the way you pass some Massai villages (which you can also visit) and we just admired the amazing landscape. Just in time for lunch we arrived at the gate to the Serengeti, where Endeni prepared us, like every day, a great lunch (cooked by the camp staff). Arrived in the Serengeti the game drive continued and we saw cheetahs, lions, leopards, wildebeests and many other incredibly beautiful animal species.

On the fourth day we had a full day in the Central Serengeti. In the morning we saw two lion brothers near our camp, who had torn a buffalo shortly before. This is a memory we will never forget. The whole day of Serengeti went by in a flash, because of all the spectacular views and animals we spotted.

On the fifth day we had half a day in the Serengeti for another game drive. At the end of the park we were bid farewell by a pack of lions who passed directly by our car, only to drink two meters behind us from a puddle. From the Serengeti we went to Tortilis Camp near the Ngorongoro crater. This camp was the most impressive for us, as we felt like we had spent the night in the middle of the jungle. It was just fantastic.

The next day we left very early for the crater. Until now we had seen 4 of the 5 Big Five. The only thing missing was the black rhino. At the bottom of the crater we were greeted by a colourful variety of animals. The impressive thing about the Ngorongoro is that 25000 animals live on a relatively small area. After about one hour Endeni got the hint (the drivers share important information with each other) that the rhinoceros was sighted at the other end of the crater. So he gave all his driving skills to the best and we reached the rhino just in time.

Our last stop was the Tarangire National Park, which is also called small Serengeti. It is mainly known for its large herds of elephants. Here we had a 2 hour game drive in the afternoon and another half day game drive the next day. Also this park inspired us very much, in particular the swamp area and the large herds of elephants are unique. After lunch we headed back to Arusha, where Endeni dropped us off at the airport.

All safari nights we stayed in the different tortilis camps, where we were very satisfied with our "tent", which was way more than a tent, with double bed, hot shower and toilet, the food and the staff.

All in all we were very satisfied and it was one of the best holidays of our lives. EasyTravel took wonderful care of us and we couldn't have imagined a better guide than Endeni. We can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful time in Tanzania.

I apologize ahead of time if a lot of the comments below feel like hyperbole, trust me they are not. This me and my wife's first safari so we were amazed and bug eyed at everything, however none of it would have been possible it were not for the great folks at easy travel.

The team at easytravel especially Voice were very responsive throughout the planning process. Voice gave us clear , concise, accurate and prompt information.

The safari itself was an amazing experience. The pace was manageable and we ended with a great group of fellow travelers which made it more fun. We were all super motivated to see the famed big 5 and we were not disappointed. The safari jeep itself is a good sized vehicle and considering the rough roads provides good comfort. Please note that you do end up spending a lot of time in the jeep so please ensure you are well equipped health-wise for such a journey.

All the three parks Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro are brilliant. Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro are the stand outs for me, evokes feeling of being in a Garden of Eden, full of animals and natural beauty.

The overnight camp stays are were far more comfortable than we expected. The tents are huge and have comfortable beds. Dinner, breakfast and the packed lunch boxes are all well done. The staff at all the camps were polite and professional. It is great to see so many young folks doing such a great job.

The best and the most crucial part of the experience is the driver/guide and ours was an amazing individual named Doto. He was exceedingly patient and gracious with all of us. Doto had to drive long distances, ferry us around in the parks and ensure we were comfortable, he did all this with a lot of professionalism. He also has an amazing eye for spotting animals and specializes in naming and identifying different birds. All in all he made our trip that extra bit special.

From the start booking our safari was seamless with easy travel Tanzania. Our sales representative was Julieth who couldn’t have been more helpful and helped us design the perfect seven day tour. Julieth also helped us with our transfers and flights after the tour and checked in with us regularly in the lead up to our holiday to ensure all our needs were met. From experience booking these trips can be stressful but The process was easy and enjoyable because of the experienced team at easy travel Tanzania.

Our trip began at African Tulip in Arusha. The hotel was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. On day one our driver guide Jackson met us at the hotel. From the start Jackson was the perfect guide, talking us through our agenda and what we would be doing each day.

Our tour included one Lanka Manyara (staying at tortillis camp), two nights in the Serengeti (staying at tortillis), one night in Ngorogoro (again staying at tortillis) and a final night in Tarangire (staying at Sangaiwe).

We loved every minute of our safari it really was everything we hoped and more. We were lucky to see so many incredible moments and all the animals we wanted and many up so close. What really made our tour was Jackson’s knowledge and experience. Jackson was able to predict in most cases what animals would do and where they would go next, so much that we experienced two lions notice and stalk and kill a buffalo. Seeing this kill in action and how lions behave in their natural environment was incredible. Although each day on the safari is long, especially when you set off at 6am, each day ran smoothly. It was helped by having Jackson as our guide who was great to chat to about everything.

Our accommodation on the safari was amazing and I have to give a special mention to tortillis camps which really did exceed our expectations. Each camp is similar in set up with beautiful tents which feel more like hotel rooms than tent, spacious with all the amenities that you expect in a hotel room. Their is also a great bar, the watering hole, and dinner room for evening meals and breakfast. The camps are made even better by the fantastic teams that work at each. They are all so friendly and welcoming chatting to us at drinks and dinner. As it was our honeymoon we were also given private dining areas at each camps and treated to special welcomes and entertainment. I cannot more strongly recommend tortillis if you are going on safari the staff go the extra mile. Their warmth and happiness exudes and we had a permanent smile on our faces at each camp. The dinners were incredible, so thank you to the chefs at each. Breakfast was lovely and each camp provided superb fresh lunches for us. I really cannot recommend tortillis enough.

We would like to give a special shout out to tortillis Serengeti partiularly the staff there, the manager Godfrey and his team. They really did make our two days in the Serengeti special. From their cheer and welcoming to the wonderful evening entertainment - they were kind and their attentiveness went above and beyond what we have experienced before. Calvin, one of the team was fantastic too.
Please stay here if you visit the serengeti they will give you and unforgettable stay.

Finally we couldn’t leave a review without giving another special mention to Jackson. We are so thankful to Jackson and grateful that he was our guide. He is so lovely, kind and knowledgble. We have no doubt that we saw and experienced what we did because of Jackson. He has been doing safari for ten years and you really can tell. There isn’t much Jackson doesn’t know about the safari and animals. He was able to answer all our questions and we learnt so much from him. Because of his experience Jackson took us to more remote parts of the Serengeti. One day we stumbled upon 9 lions surrounding a warthog in a hole trying to dig him out. We were the only ones who saw this and there were no other cars around, this is because Jackson was confident and experienced to take us further into the Serengeti. This was a moment we will never forget and wowed the other guides and staff at our camp when we told them and showed them our videos and pictures.

We really felt that over the six days Jackson was like our family. He went the extra mile for us at every opportunity and we are sure all of the honeymoon love we received was because he reminded the camps and staff we were on honeymoon. If you decide to safari with easy travel Tanzania, I cannot more strongly recommend that you request Jackson as your guide. You will be in the best safest hands with Jackson taking you on safari. You will also have the company of a lovely, kind and funny guide. Thank you Jackson, we are now in Zanzibar and we miss you!!

If you are a couple looking for honeymoon or simply an incredible safari holiday, please use easy travel Tanzania and Jackson as your guide. You will certainly be treated to a wonderful experience that’s will give you memories you will never forget. Thank you to the whole team we cannot stop talking about our amazing safari and honeymoon.

Making a decision to go on an African safari is the beginning of long, sometimes arduous process. The many required preparations and decisions can be a daunting prospect! After over a year of planning and preparing I've just returned from what is undoubtedly a top highlight of my life. From my first communication with Lizbeth of Easy Travel, I was reassured that with her help, we could successfully manage the many unknowns of preparing for a Tanzanian Safari. Her patience an responsiveness to our (very) many questions gave us the guidance we needed to make this dream a reality! From travel insurance, Visas, currency, immunization requirements, not to mention designing a custom tailored itinerary, Lizbeth was supportive and knowledgeable. Thanks to her - our group was well prepared, appropriately dressed and ready for the adventure of a lifetime. Our good fortune continued by being paired with "Everest," a remarkable guide possessing all the qualities that take a wonderful experience to the next level. At all times he was attentive to our needs and his easy going attitude immediately put us at ease. His warmth, wit and appropriate humor only added to his charm.
His expertise in spotting and identifying all of the many birds and animals was remarkable and he always added interesting facts that helped us appreciate how much the wildlife is interrelated. We saw more animals than we ever could have imagined and took even more pictures!
Our safari took us from Tarangire National Park through Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks and ended with a tour of the rim and floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. I cannot pick a favorite - they all offered wonderful and unique experiences. Accommodations and meals were SUPERB. We especially enjoyed experiencing the culture of the Tanzanian people who were warm and gracious at all times.
The fond memories from our Safari will last a lifetime and we are indebted to Easy Travel with sincere thanks to Lizbeth and Everest who are true professionals yet felt much like friends at the end of our wonderful adventure.
