Easy Travel is excellent.

Here's how I would break down the key elements:

1) Guide/driver: Frankly we were not paying enough weightage to this before we left -- we were much more concentrated on itenerary and hotels. But I think 60% of how good your trip is will be determined by the quality of guide/driver. We had 2 vehicles, and both were excellent (Herman and Steven). Very professional and knowledgeable. It's much more interesting when the guide is knowledgeable.

2) Itinerary: We tested out the top 5-6 firms listed on TA. Easytravel stood out in terms of the person really listening to what we wanted and creating exactly the kind of itinerary that we wanted, and the price point was also good. The person (Musadiq) spent a lot of time with us on email and it helped a lot.

3) Size: This is a mid-size firm, and I felt it had a nice balance. Big enough to have a lot of resources so that they had their own repair trucks etc., but small enough to give us personalized attention. The MD of the firm called us during the trip to ensur that everything was going fine. One example of the personalized service was that they had organized our travels in a way so that most days we could be at a lodge in the middle of the day and have a hot lunch -- which was a lot nicer than the standard boxed lunches that most people were having. All the little touches added up to a great trip.

The only recommendation for improvement I have (and this probably applies to all the outfits) is that if you want to shop for little items then make sure the firm takes you to the Masi Market in Arusha. Somehow it does not seem to be on the standard recommnded list for any of the travel companies, but we found it to be a great place for small souveniers (not for large ones -- e.g. if you want to Fed Ex the stuff out then you'll have to go to the big places that all these firms take you to).

Also, we had a vehicle with an electric charger (I don't think all have it). That was a great help....you don't want to run low on camera battery when you see a cheetah....so if you can get it, ask for a vehicle with a charger.

If we ever go back to Tanzania we're definitely going to stick with Easytravel.

We took an wonderful 11 days safari organized by Easy Travel. We visited Tarangire,Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. A great experience. Beautiful country, the dust was also included. Kosmas, our driver and tour guide, speaks spanish. He is a nice person, was very kind, helpful and always on time. Only two things we are sorry for: having missed the ryno and having spent three nights at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge. We don´t recommend you to stay there.

We spent our honeymoon in Tanzania and everything was perfect. Easy Travel organized the whole trip (6 days Safari in Tanzania + 5 days for relax in Zanzibar) and we only have good words about them, specially about Cornelio, our driver and guide in the Safari. He was absolutely professional and we could learn a lot not just about animals, but also about Tanzanian life in general :-) Furthermore, we was always very punctual and spoke Spanish as a native.

Thank you very much! Muchas gracias!

We didn't know about Tansania and the Safari until we met Herman at the airport of Kilimandscharo. He leaded us on our jorney through the NPs Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Tarangire as a friend. Actually he was more as a friend because he treated us like a part of our family. He is allways punctually, good-humoured, cheerful, open minded, happy, interested, funny, thankful and amusing . He showed us a lot of animals in the nature even descried the smallest dik-dik. He tried everytime to answer our one's wishes. He told us about the culture, the economy, politics, the education, the history, climate and even flora and fauna of Tansania. We talked about the problems of the new Tansania. So to say he was our full day entertainer and leader of our family during the Safari. We felt us secure and sheltered every time. It was for us the most amazing and wonderfully beautiful holiday that we had. For the next time we would travel again with Herman. Thank you for everything. :D
