We did a four day safari and had a fantastic time. Our guide, Isaac, was exactly what we hoped for in a guide: he was incredibly knowledgeable and completely attuned to what we in particular wanted. We chose to go with the less expensive "camp" lodges, and I recommend these for anyone. This wan't camping, but bedrooms under giant tents and then covered by thatch roofs, each with a private bathroom and hot shower attached to the room. further, the camps we stayed in all had excellent service: I expect they did a much better job choosing good accomodations than we could have. We didn't spend a lot of time negotiating the price, and so I'm not sure if there were better deals out there. We had 4 days of safari including Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Tarengire, and 6 nights in camps/lodges. they charged $1550 per person in June (2 persons). I am glad I went with their company but do wish we'd discussed the price a bit more.
